A thread stewing in the admin forum popped out an interesting poll so we though we would throw it up here and see what you guys thought.

If you had to choose just one *non-medicinal drug for the rest of your life, which drug would you choose?

1. Cannabis
Includes hashish, kif, and marijuana.

2. Nicotine
Includes cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, and chewing tobacco.

3. Caffeine
Includes coffee, tea, soft drinks, and chocolate.

4. Alcohol
Includes applejack, beer, cauim, chicha, cider, kumis, mead, sake, wine, liqueurs, perry, pulque, slivovitz, and spirits.

5. Hallucinogens
Includes lysergic acid (LSD), mescaline, peyote, san pedro, psilocybin, MDMA (ecstasy), and fly agaric.

6. Opiates
Includes opium, morphine, "black tar" heroin, and heroin.

*Even though cannabis and other drugs do have medicinal value, what this means is non-prescription or mainstream drugs like diet drugs, steroids, mood elevators, etc.

This is a very funny poll. I wonder if anyone actually chooses something other than cannabis.

I would find it hard to live without drugs like caffeine but i'd get used to it.
Cannabis though, no way I could go without cannabis.

I remember George Carlin once said about writing one of his commedy show dialogs; " I write about an idea, then I take just a couple of hits and its time to punch it up a bit". It works alot like that in my expierence as well. I can think alot more clearly and at the same time more openly after a couple of hits.

I hate coffee. Caffeine would be an easy one to drop. Nicotine would be the tough one for me. But if I had to do it for cannabis, I would. So that's what I voted.

i dont like how you included cannabis in this poll. i believe cannabis does have some medical properties, but i would still chose it as a recreational drug for the rest of my life.

Well, I had to pick marijuana but it was a hard choice. I love the mushrooms so those would be the very close second. And I wanna know what bastard put chocolate and soft drinks as one, that was not kool
