| Alrighty! With the Republican National Convention underway and every possible organization coming out with a presidential poll, I thought it would be a fine time for us to do the same. Lets only look at the biggies for now - I'll add another option for "neither", hows that? So lets see where we stand at the begining of the RNC. If ya want to let us know where your votes going and why, we'd love to hear!

| My vote goes to the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Though not a member of one, I have always been a strong supporter of Labor movements and unions, something the Republican leadership seems to have little regard for. Also, the massive deficit, the un-Republican expansion of the government, and the party line on Gay Marriage and a constitutional amendment prohibiting it have made it impossible to re-up GWB for 4 years. Kerry also was a big supporter of the UMass-Amherst MJ Growth and Study program, and at the very least will stop the raids on medical mj patients. If I felt that there were a good alternative 3rd party candidate, I would seriously consider him/her, but Nader doesn't impress me at all. |

| My Brothers and Sisters: I find it hard to believe the majority of you would vote for scary Kerry. He's admitted a role in war crimes while in Vietnam. His medals are still in controversy as to how he earned them. He's honored in a Hanoi City museum as a war hero (along with the Fonda b***h). He comes back from Vietnam after a very short stint and bad mouths our military. He wants to be revered as a war hero but don't dare ask about his voting record in Congress. He's flip-flopped on almost everything he's said on the record. He's already said he will reverse GW's tax rebate and raise taxes. How does Kerry plan on fighting a more sensitive war? He's a globalist who will hand over what sovereignty we have to the U.N.. He and his running mate are almost the most liberal members of Congress ever. I feel that GW and his administration are going to lose some very important Supreme Court rulings concerning our favorite plant. And, finally, what makes you think Kerry is going to do anything concerning our plant? Congress has to start it, Kerry will only be able to veto it or let it pass. Since there isn't line item veto, anything about our plant will be a few words in a bill consisting of thousands of words. Think people! |

Oh, and since there are plenty of threads discussing Kerry's past and worthiness as a candidate, how about telling us who you are voting for instead of who we shouldn't vote for. ![]()

| I will only appear to be voting for Kerry/Edwards. The reality is that I am actually voting against Bush. This election should not be construed as any sort of "choice".
