I like to look at it this way. Marijuana isn't HARMLESS. However, I feel that the positive effects outweigh the negative effects. So to say marijuana is BAD for you is false, in my opinion. I think that if there are more pros than cons regarding something, it has to be considered a good thing.

personally i dont believe it matters ,if you use it and know the possible dangers and not these truth commercial bulls**t but the facts then it is up to you. this is why i believe in self education because ignorance is suffering if a doctor told me tommorow i had lung cancer i would still go home and toke but that is my life not others. it should be up to the indivdual not the government if i decide to smoke because i know that it can be harmful any kind of smoke is harmful to the lungs they were only ment for oxygen

Yeah, I remember hearing something about how it would take just so many, not sure just how many, potatoes to kill a person because of a certain chemical in them.

Either way, I can tell you that it is obviously not harmless. It obviously hurts your lungs, if just barely.

Besides, compared to the other drugs out there, even the legal ones, marijuana is like an apple of health.

I am not saying that you should smoke a bowl a day to keep the doctor away, even though I do, smoke two that is, but I would rather have every person on the planet, over the age of 12 at least, smoking weed than even half of them doing any of the other drugs.

I personally think that marijuana has no really bad effects besides the occational "Stoner moment" and that it hurts your lungs. Whether or not my idea of marijuana is right or not it IS MY IDEA of marijuana until it is proven wrong.

The plant itself is NOT harmful. The way you use it could be harmful. Everyone knows breathing smoke can eventually lead to cancer or many other diseases. But smoking isn't the only way to induce (only word i can think of) marijuana into your system, you can eat it, too. But as many other people have said, everything you do can be potentially harmful, like eating too much fast food gets you fat, which causes many problems, etc.

ummm, haha, if your asking if you can eat plastic with the bud inside , i wouldn't suggest it, but if your asking if you can eat the grass straight when its first purchased? without cooking it? You can, but the effects will be alot less than if you were to cook it with somethin. I suggest Pot Hot Chocolate.

I don't like the question either. Are we asking physically, mentally, socially or what?

If you say physically then I would say it is harmless, even when smoked. Any damage to your lungs will be done by breathing the air on the planet first. We have alot more to worry about then a little tar damage. Plus MJ kills lung cancer as well as brain cancer and breast cancer.

If you say mentally then I would say it is harmless. It opens your mind up to all that is. People are much more creative when high then not.

If you say socially then I would say it is harmless. Its a "social drug" for a reason. It makes people less apprehensive about meeting new people and/or getting to know them better.

Ok, so which is it?

trust me, it ain't completely harmless, and if you think it is, then your in denial. obviously tar buildup in your lungs is not good for u, and could cause problems if you are a heavy pot smoker. Heavy use will cause your lungs to look like the inside of a bong.

Hey everyone, first time here so hello hello. The bottom line is that no one has ever died from Marijuana, not one-is that good enough? The problem with mariguana is that it is illegal and we have all been severly brainwashed. We need to stick to facts, not fiction. I had the opportunity to see Mark Emery speak at my schools pub and get high with him after. He has a really good grip on things and knows what he is talking about, we need to listen to him.
