I think there are a lot of degrees of harm. Me and my friends dont really have many problems, we smoke once or twice a week. But my friends bro smokes around 3 times a day, has started stealing to buy bud, has developed a quite noticable stutter, and failed school. I just think u gotta be careful

The situation is not caused by weed. Your friend's brother has a serious condition -- and his actions of stealing, the effect of his use on his psychological health (the stutter and chocie to steal) and his school failure indicates that he is in an acute situation that requires professional help.

Any substance can cause that -- from alcohol to cigarettes to food to drugs.

Unfortuneately it is difficult to get a person into the treatment they require without serious interdicition -- family, the law, the school system.

I wish your friends brother luck.

this question can be taken and answered in two ways, the serious one and the comical, indecisive one. the serious answer would start with no, and elaborate. the comical answer would say that anything could be considered harmful. marijuana is harmful, because of the "Consequences of acting under the influence of marijuana", i think thats a better word. edit

Shoot, if your worried about the effect it may have on your lungs, make some brownies or something. Its safer than alcohol or tobacco, and thats coming from my doctor. I talk about it with him ever time I see him (because I told him I smoked and now ever time i go in he asks me if i have "smoked any good weed lately". He's a cool dude.)
