Default Do you support the full legalization of Marijuana?

This seems pretty simple. Do you support the full legalization of Marijuana? Im NOT talking about Medical Marijuana, or Hemp, or even decriminalization.

So what say ye!

Full legalization of Marijuana?

That seems like a question one couldn't answer negative while retaining a shred of credibility at this forum.

Will be interesting to check back here if someone disagrees

And I propose an amendment: NO SPECIAL TAXES...

Illegality seems politically correct right now, tax it and you could get a revolt.

Oh wait they did

Full legal status! It should be no different than going into a grocery store and buying a box of sugar. There shouldn't be special taxes for it either, just regular taxes. And growers shouldn't be required to have a license either, just like you don't need one to bake cookies.

The only law should be not selling to young kids, should be an age limit to over the counter sale of pot. Cause im sure it's not good for a young person whos body is still growing, to be smoking pot.

Kids used to take it all the time back in the day *shrug* I want proof, scientific evidence, that cannabis is bad for children. Read that again: cannabis, not SMOKING cannabis, is bad for children. I want proof of that, because I don't see why some magical number makes it OK for adults but not OK for children...8 years old, that's another story. But what about the mother who gives her child cannabis instead of ritalin?

I don't know a lot about ritalin, but from what I understand a kid can take that and still go to school and learn, etc. I know that if I had gone to school high, I probably would've been even less interested in school than I already was...

Anyhoo, yeah, I completely support full legalization of at least marijuana.

I guess in my mind, when I picture kids using cannabis, I picture it in a setting where cannabis has been legalize for probably a 20 year span already. By this time, I feel the stigma and over-indulgance that is associated with cannabis would be removed. What I mean is, yes, kids today smoke a lot of bud, but is that because they would normally do that, or because it's illegal?

I don't know if that makes sense, but that's where I'm coming from when I say all ages should be able to enjoy cannabis. The way it's put now, saying kids cannot smoke until they are 16 or 18, also implies that kids shouldn't be allowed to use it as medicine, say for anxiety or even IBS. It's unlike alcohol in that it actually has medicinal value, same goes for cigarettes. Hope that makes it more clear, it is in my mind lol.

i agree with higher logic at least on the forbidden fruit theory, the usage of pot in holland is so much lower then here in america simply because the stigma along with it is gone and there isn't so much controversy surrounding it(At least not as much as in the usa) making it seem exciting to them.

Then again kids are still getting piss drunk moreso then high, so even if it was age restricted if they want to get high they'll get high illigal or not, it'd just be safer and more realistic to have a guarunteed safe regulated product for them to take(not just pot but other drugs too)...but all those hospital visits gives the government thier fuel of the drug war.

They don't care about health they care about money.

I for one would rather take a non addictive benign plant then speed(ritalin).
