I think it goes as well as can be reasonably expected.

It seems as if every year, we manage to convince a few more. The polls and demographics are on our side, my friends. We'll win, we just have to be sure and keep on a-fightin'.

yes , but we aren't any closer now than we were a year ago ? with all our rights being stripped away like the feathers on a birds wings , and another 3 and 3/4 years with George W there is no hope for the immediate legalization of marijuana , I'm sorry to say .

It's the big question isnt it, are we winning?

I think so, and barring complete restriciton from sunlight, water, and soil I don't think we will ever be stopped from enjoying cannabis. So yeah, the years been good for us, it's really no question... and next year will be better.

i think with the legaliation of medical marijuana in 12 states is a big acomplishment. but at least my goal is total legalization in hte next 25 years

With Canada soon to decriminalize, Alaska allowing 4 ounces in the home, and 11 states allowing medical marijuana, some states decriminalized. I'd say were doing good! Slow but steady, it'll be here before we know it!

hmmm are we talking about medical marijuana legalization here , or the legalization of marijuana itself . I don't believe the original post said medical marijuana ? it was pertaining to the outright total legalization of marijuana ? LoL

last I checked there were no states in the USA that were legal to smoke dope

in colombia, missouri, the people voted to decriminalize up to 32 oz. i know a friend who goes to mu, he says they dont have to worry about carrying weed with them anymore.
add to that the many other states that have relaxed their rules, and its already going pretty good.
also, the medical marijuana issue is before the supreme court. i think that is a big accomplishment for now (seeing the feds trying to defend their bs is just hurting them), but it could turn ugly if the judges decide against the states rights.

but all in all, 2004 was a good year. the grassroots movement is really gaining steam.
