I had a dream that there was a new poll at mj dot com. Turned out to be a pipe dream... The current one has been around for [apx]40 days and 40 nights. How about something new, like what music do you most like to listen to while smoking.

I was born not too long ago (though it seems like I've been live forever--not that I'm complaining, though), but for me, there's nothing uglier than a poorly rolled joint spilling everywhere and canoeing.

I have a small glass pipe (looks kind of like this, only mine is much more colorful and detailed and durable looking. Mine has a carb-hole, too.) that I take everywhere. It holds a little more than a joint's worth of weed and there's no taste but sweet, sweet bud--I don't use a lighter or matches during daytime, I use a 6" magnifying glass.

yes i agree and couldnt have put it better myself.. smoking marijuana is all about the experience itself to me.. i look for pipes i am going to enjoy smoking it makes the exp a lot better for myself.. in fact, just added a beauty to the arsenal, i named it candy because it looks a lot like a blowpop or something, with a purple vortex-y shaft and a bowl to die for... hold it up in the sunlight and look into the sun through it, there is a pink/purple glow inside of it.. but back to the sun and look into it, its a turquoise/teal aura.. i love it, and rather cheap too..

I'm actully apprenticing to be a glass blower, and there are differnt kinds of glass pipes....

There are those full-blown headies pieces, that sell for 500+, and yes those ARE artistic quality pieces... They are awsome to look at, but they can break very easily...impractical for day to day...


Then there are those simple glass peices, in the forms of sherlocks and spoons...I love these day to day using...Clean hits without any metal or wood taste....

very functional....

Therefore it really all deprends on what kind of pipe it is.....

you guys have all forgotten one very important thing.

glass is inert

metal however is not... meaning metal gives off vapors when you smoke it you are in essance smoking the metal as well.

ceramic and plastics, they absorb the resins burned,leaving an aftertaste no matter how many times cleaned

Glass has come along way, especially once they decided to use a kiln to harden the glass it can be very durable as well as easily cleaned (depending on detail)

this is why you find glass on the streets in the city for10-20 bucks and in a good headshop like the ones in rockland county ny it is all nothing but the best of quality.

working in the field you see many different types and again it goes back to preference.

i myself enjoy my 2.5 ft glass double bubble bong i made while working at the shop

What i think is that i could have a pipe that dosnt look so good...But the hits are killer..i dont care for how it looks mostly but i do like my hooka =)
