a 25 year old here. started smoking at 18 as soon as i moved out of my parents. previously i was a paranoid little bi-polar freak who would visually check everyone in a room for weapons, was constantly tense in social situations, and hyper as hell. after smoking i have calmed down, i no longer do a visual weapons scan unless i am stressed. my mood swings ar e fewer and less intense. in my particular experiance smoking has had positive mental effects.

Doesn't everyone do a weapons check on persons in their vicinity? Visitors to my home are subjected to a sniff-down by my German Shepherd. Female visitors also get a pat-down.

Seriously, though, I am bipolar as well and find that marijuana serves to keep me from the extremes. It's not a cure-all and it doesn't work for everybody that way.

Well a Happy Birthday to you!! Stated at 9 huh..wow. I didn't find out that my parents were tokin till I was about 16, and at that age I was drowned with all the negative hype about MJ, so I was mortified when I found out!! Until I tried it when i hit college at 18...heh...now my parents are cool...lol.

I have been 29 now for the last 15 years. My physical body is at least 65 and that has been for the last 8 years. Started smoking MJ when 15, Quit at 21 for 18 years. I smoke for the benefits of pain reduction, rest, and because I don't think my body had much left to give without the break MMJ has given me. My wife a non smoker wishes I was willing to smoke more often. I now Walk, Eat, Rest some,. Getting better thanx to cannabis, a hard head and a desire to Live, Love, Laugh again.
