The purple only comes from certain temperature settings when growing. So strains like purple kush, or any purple strain really isn't purple unless you strain your plants with a bit of extreme temperatures and/or conditions.

And I agree, purple doesn't have any distinct taste. That's like saying different colored noodles have different tastes.

How does anyone know what "purple" tastes like anyway .

Purple has been the rage around here for the last year or so, and I dig it. But I've found that I like to mix it up a bit. Smoking too much of the same strain builds up a tolerance it seems. I tried something called Dengue Fever the other day which was sort of dark and chocalatey. White Widow, G13, Purple Kush, Blueberry, Afghani,, after all those specialty blends, I like to go for a nice generic fluffly outdoor organic strain.

I was just gonna say the same thing. One of my fav strains ever is def Church. If you know about this strain then you already understand. But def the most potent bud i ever smoked was Maui Wowie. The bud looked mad dark and was soooooooooo sticky. Stickiest bud I pretty much ever seen in my life. My boy was selling .9 for $40 of it i was pretty shocked.

Until the 4of us smoked that blunt that lasted us 45 mins!!!! I was so blasted i couldn't believe how little i smoked. Def the greatest stain that I'll prolly never smoke again in my whole life. O the Memories

my favorite strain so far is New York Sour Diesel, only had it a few times but every time without fail it has been GREAT

.9 for FORTY??!?! That comes out to roughly 44.44 a GRAM!!!!! Screw that! The most I've EVER paid for weed was 60 bucks an 1/8th, and typically, I won't spend more than 40 bucks for 3.5 grams. It would have to be some of the last weed on earth before I'd pay the equivalent of $155.54 per 1/8th!!!!! Don't get me wrong, either....I'm not talking about "low grade" weed either.....I'm talking about established strains like blueberry, purple kush, AK, etc......sticky, hairy, crystally goodness. I've yet to find weed I'd even CONSIDER buying at over twice the established "street" price of 20/gram for high quality smoke.

DAMN 40 for .9 that is steep, my friends just picked up some nightshade for 30 a gram 70 an 8th, that is the most i will eve think of paying for some bud and it put them under the table in just on hit, crazy stuff

I never pay more than $40 an 1/8. When I buy in bulk, it's much cheaper. I usually buy an ounce or half ounce at a time. Then it's usually 125-140 for the half, and 250-280 for the oz. depending on the grade, etc.

hey i feel u guys when u say u wouldn't pay that much for weed no matter what it is. I reacted the same way when he first told me that day and said i didn't want it. The only reason i ended up smoking it iz cuz the 4 of us put $10 each. Trust me that dude had some of the best weed i ever had and was especially consistent with all types of strains, like ur blueberries, widows, kushes, etc but he said it was really expensive maui wowie and after that blunt i believed him and its not like he ever had that again, it was too expensive.

Right nowI have some really crystally haze, sum extremely condensed hash plant and like a quarter of OG kush i just copped and i still know that maui wowie from years ago is better. It was just too damm expensive.
