Hey, ok, we all know that indica gives a stoned feeling while sativa gives a high feeling, or at least we all know that now... But... what kind of weed is which, like when i buy weed I know what strain it is, but not whether it is Indica or Sativa, anyone know any of them?

It's difficult or impossible to tell by looking at it. Unless the dealer tells you, you probably won't know. I believe you can tell by looking at the leaves, but I'm not sure what means what. And a lot of weed is a crossbreed of the two, so you can't be entirely sure.

Well, if you go to emeryseeds.com (I hope that URL is correct) you can browse thousands of strains and it tells you how much of it is sativa and how much is indica. Of course, lots of dealers probably say stuff like "oh yeah this is AK-47" just to sound cool.

What do you all like to smoke. Do you like not being able to move off your couch, or do you like a heady, lightheaded type high. I havent smoked sativa in a long, long time. I think the first time i smoked, and thats it. All the weed around here (MI) is indica, I can definetly tell. But whats all your preferences?

for me it depends on the situation where ill be smoking
if im out with a bunch of friends or going to be out in public id much prefer the heady high
but im just chillin alone or going to watch a movie the body high is awsome cause its just so relaxing...

for anything else- INDICA!!!! i love a mellow high man, what can i say?
