Wow too many to choose from... I have been collecting comics for over 15 years......OK I'll list a few.

Random from the X-Factor Comics...... his power was to randomly counteract any power used against him.....whoopass!

Venom, when he was first around, but before he made it to the "I'm bad, no I'm good, no I'm bad again" phase.

Bluntman and Chronic would have to be right up there for sheer amusement value.

But my overall favourite would have to be TooMuchCoffee Man Now he is da bomb!!

Wolverine(before his adamantium claws were extracted)

Spawn(the after version,the one that was the super powerful demon killer, not the orig, or midevil)

Why?

And Spawn is just on another level.

And in case you didn't know Wolverine is the comic book icon of the 90's-2000's..why?
They just released his origin book, noone else has an origin book without it bein part of his or her comic...

Fields Of Green, would you like to know why they just released Wolvie's origin book It is kind of an amusing reason.

Marvel comics was leaked some info that the next X-Men movie was almost solely going to be about the origins of Wolverine, so to stop anyone non-Marvel related writing the history of one of the coolest comic book characters around, they jumped in first

The actual intention was to keep Wolvie's history a complete mystery, and never write about it, but I gues they had no choice......

Definitely Batman. I've been a lifelong comic nerd ( well, at 18 that's not a long time admittedly) since my dad has almost been force feeding them to me since I was a small child, but Batman by far rocks my socks more than the average super hero, and by a hefty margin at that.

a few quotes ( paraphrased, since I can't remember all of them exactly)

Green Lantern: " That guy creeps me out... doesn't even have any powers, but he could wipe the floor with everyone here" ( he was standing in the JLA watchtower at the time, with the other members of the JLA)

another one being where there is of course some kind of universal crisis, and Superman is talking to the army officials in some sort of cliched super secret underground base and batman just walks into the room mid conversation and starts laying down the law, what's happening why and how to fix it, and then it shows the two guards in the background

guard: ".... did we let him in?"


but if we had to choose characters with our favorite powers, that would have to be the Flash. Mark Waid turned him into a badass, and in his current incarnation, judging only by their powers, the flash could kick supermans ass with ease ( not that they'd ever write that happening, superman being their flagship character and all)

Oh, and, I can't stand Wolverine. I can't stand him, I can't stand him, I can't stand him.

I can't stand the cliche'd toughman with a heart of gold character ( not to say I hate all cliched characters, just this particular personality), his powers bore me, and the number one reason I hate him

The writers have him beat characters that should destroy him without even having to think about it just because he's popular.

He's stalemated in just about every battle with the hulk he's ever had. ( except the first one where hulk smacked him around like a *****)

The friggin hulk.

Wolverine, with the powers he's listed at shouldn't be able to compete with spidey or the beast, let alone the Hulk. drives me crazy. heh.

oh man....wow this brings back memories of my childhood (granted that was only 6 years ago....) but X-Men was the ****ing ****. Especially Wolverine. Night Crawler is also kinda cool...
Superman really sucks i mean who wants a super hero that is invincible, And Spiderman was kinda gay. Though i do want to see the new movie.

The thing that pisses me off is the new Xmen show, i mean they have butchered the comic with all the characters being teens....gesh, if you havent seen it try and get up on saturday morning and turn to the WB.

Wolverine, The Punisher, Venom and all the G.I. Joes. G.I. Joe is the only comic i ever routinely bought when it was still being published. It was awesome. Batman is ridiculous. These days he beats everyone he fights. I mean, he could probably take Superman or Spawn on, even though he has no actual powers. What a joke.

never read a comic book...but i have to say that because of the new movie coming out, spiderman would be my pick!
