Unfortunately I would have to say that I skip all the time, I just can't motivate myself to go and do what I am supposed to do..... This is not saying that I spend all day hanging around and smoking...... I only smoke 2-3 bowls a day....... But don't make it a habit people, It can be a hard one to break.

i dont know dude..last time i skipped something to do something else--wait a sec. i've never skipped anything to do something else in my life! i beleive skipping is bad karma. and well, thats just not okay for me. plus i feel guilty. and did you ever watch that Hey! Arnold where Jerald ditched school to go do something and the school ended up having a carnival!! tuff luck for him! i dont like missing school, all the make-up work isnt worth it. plus i got a twin sister, and if she found out, she'd tell my mom, and i'd be in big trouble. so, umm, yeah! thumbs up!

That is another thing....... When I was in high school (about 5 years ago) I don;t think i missed a single day, even due to illness..... It is only in about the past year that I have become so confused as to what I want to do, that I don't do anything....

I suppose when I figure out what I want to do I will do it....

But that doesnt help me now......

I skip when i cant take school anymore or anytime i know i wnt get caught. And i always skip wit friends so we usually end upo smoking so its all good

School was a horrible period of my life. I was singled out; chased, other students harassing me constantly, knocked unconscious at school one day, and anything I ever brought to school was stolen or destroyed.

This happened when I was 16... I was on roller-blades and I was chased by other studens on bikes. I skated as fast as possible to my house which is about 12 blocks away. I managed to stay out of harm's way until I reached my street. I was going down the massive hill towards my house, hoping I could make it. It was there that one kid caught up to me and rammed me with his bicycle. I couldn't hold my balance, I tipped over and my feet lifted off the ground. I had enough time to think to myself, "This is going to hurt me really bad!" I hit the pavement on my shoulder and rolled a down the hill a little, coming to a sliding stop.

I was in a lot of pain, laying on the street bleeding. The students ran off before I even got up. I managed to make it back to my house where I was taken to the doctor. I was bleeding all up my left arm to my sholder. My back had many scrapes and scratches. My legs were also badly skinned with lots of gravel in the wounds.

We called the police and filed a complaint, but the students were only given a warning. This incident was the final straw. I dropped out of school shortly after; at the age of 16.

I skipped class many times, not to get high, but because I was afraid to go. Some days I would walk up to the doors of the school, grab the handle, and say to myself, "I just can't do this today! I can't!" I then walked home and just went for walks all by myself around the river, or layed around my house when nobody else was home.

I regret dropping out of school, but school really isn't for me. My life has actually become better without school. I no longer have to be around people who don't accept me for who I am. I am now 18 years of age, living with my parents, and working full-time with a Music Festival. I work with concert sound equipment, I design the festival's website, and I handle all the computer-related tasks. It's a good job, it pays for gas in my car, expenses, and my smoking habit.

My future is uncertain, but I would really like to move out of this community. I feel like I don't belong here, and there's something waiting for me out there... I want to go on a journey to find it.

Sorry if this is such a long post, I just needed to get this off my chest. If you read this far, you have my deepest thanks for your time. I'm a normal person, really! (It might be hard to believe. )

i will occassionally skip out on work to smoke, but not too often. i dont feel bad when i do it though because my work takes advantage of me, so i take advantage of them.

i never skipped school much til grade twelve. then i had double blocks of french class. when it was nice out, i'd skip class, walk home and smoke a few bowls. somehow it just seemed like a better use of my time. now that i'm in university, i skip class a lot. soem classes are such bs, you end up sitting there thinking " you know, i'd be better off getting high and reading an encyclopedia." anyways, i just got off class and according to my watch it's 4:20. time to go

skipping school aint my thing, the only reason I'd ever skip class is if I have an assignment that has to be done or something, I'm in college so they don't care if you don't come to class, but if you don't go then you tend to not know whats goin on after cuz you missed class and then you fail. If its an easy class I'll just burn and go to class but still wount miss class. I know they say you shouldn't mix school an weed but they don't care, theres a bar at my school and people come to class drunk regularly so weed aint a big deal.

wow, overdrive, I'm really sorry to hear that, your honestly a strong person for not goin medevil on their ass, I honesly think I'd snap if someone put me through something like that again like seriously hurt someone if they did that. I did snap when I was in elementary just went nuts when some kids were throwing stuff at me, I suppose thats how I gained respect from then on, people just thought I'd go crazy or something and I'm not a small guy. where in ontario are you from?

oh ya, and about work, I had a really lax office job last summer with alot of good smoking friends, we used to take weed breaks all the time and go back to work and trip each other out chatting while we were working, made the day go by quicker. so ya, I never seem to skip out on anything it seems, I just came to realize what I dedicated person i am, wow.
