i feel we should do it if it can be done safely, i think its just people are afraid...and yah it is a scary thing, but i dont think we should hold back because if we can clone humans it would change alot of peoples minds about religion and god and it would be alotta discussions about it...but i feel it should be done with proper regulations

The clones will just have the same DNA, but if the clone eats different, doesnt exercise or in other words live exactly like Pam she can be fat and ugly and not look like the real Pam, and after that what will you do? kill it? what if some sick pedophile starts to clone Jenifer lopez, would it be right for him to abuse of this kid just because its a clone!?!

I with DoritosMan on this one...the old fashioned way has done pretty okay up till now so why not continue - yeah it may have it's flaws here and there but what doesn't have a flaw. Say cloning is approved and is done regularly, I'm sure some unpredicted flaw will come about that will change everyone's views on cloning. Also, a human life is a human life regardless of whether or not it is a clone, it is still living, breathing, and alive and it would be completely inhumane to treat it like some wild animal or a disposable piece of life that has no meaning-all life is worth something. Cloning will only lead to controversy and I believe it would be in society's best interests to leave cloning alone.

you have went from clones being artificial to them being human and having the same rights as us. Looks to me as if progress has been made in the right direction,but we still have a ways to go,huh?
Cloning to save a life would be good,wouldn't it?Or should we simply let people die even though this technology could save them?I don't think so,and I don't think we live in the dark ages any more,where anything we don't understand or that makes us afraid is bad.Of course not.
I wonder now why you see cloning as evil?How can an inanimate thing be evil or bad?A baby is not born good or evil,it has to learn to be evil all on it's own,wouldn't you agree?
So,by that premise,you aren't really afraid of the act of cloning so much as you are afraid of what natural humans will do with the technology to further their own agenda,is that right?
So,to go one step further,it isn't cloning that you fear at all,it's the evil that men do with the power cloning gives them,right?

im a fan of cloning many things like plants such as cannabis sativa or indica, but humans i dont think thats right, eventualy even if we put very stricked rules on it something will happen, kind of like the nuke it was intended for good, did good(depends on your view of it) but if the cold war would have broken into a real war the would be nothing left, so something with potential like that should be left alone in my opinion
