Well, honestly I think it's healthier to smoke with company exclusively (just like never drinking alone). It is less likely to lead to psychological dependence, I mean.

But, honestly, I don't adhere to that and I think most don't either.

For the past year or so, I have noticed that Cannabis has been hightening social anxiety for me. While I love to smoke with a few select and very good friends, I gain the absolute most enjoyment out of my high if I am alone. It makes me very anti-social sometimes, which is different from a lot of smokers, though I have noticed that my condition seems to be more prelavent in my friends that have been smoking more for longer. First on the list of favorite social activities while high would be sex though The closest thing to an actual aphrodisiac that I have ever experienced. I think of alcohol and coffee as more social drugs. Though, as I mentioned above, pot is better for sex. Alcohol reduces feeling and too much of it reduces ability. The ideal I think would be to go, sober, to a bar/club/party and drink there, moderately, for the social lubrication and save the pot for your lady at home, or for yourself if you're alone Though it isn't really right in the nightlife/party context, I mentioned coffee because caffiene is really the best social drug I can think of, which, IMO, is the reason caffiene is the only psychoactive substance allowed in the workplace (though I have never had any other upper and the health/addiction issues with them destroy the case for whatever small worth they may have.)

So for me, its:
Cannabis for solitary relaxation and real enhancement of intimacy.
Alcohol for icebreaking and hanging out comfortably with a crowd, not counting my 1-2 beer-a-night habit, which occurs regardless of social circumstances.
Coffee for the morning re-entry to the Rat Race and *shudder* otherwise sober interaction.
Oh... and Mushrooms are good socially and alone but for slightly different reasons. Shrooms are probably my overall favorite drug because, the amazing experience notwithstanding, I don't feel the slightest need to do it again the next day. Most of the time it is months, sometimes years, between trips. Psylocibin is that satisfying.

We should all keep in mind though, that different pot and different people, will react very differently with each other.

I'll fire up a bowl, bong, joint, blunt, whatever anytime. I'll smoke in the car, on the way to work, at work, on breaks, when I get home, on the toilet, before I eat dinner, after I eat dinner, before a cigarette and after a cigarette. I don't care where I am or who I'm with, I'll smoke by myself or with company.

Half the people I've smoked with, I didn't know at the time. It's like radar. I was at the hospital when my daughter was born, and I was talking to this guy and told him about how I didn't get any sleep the night before (they were inducing my girlfriend) and he just looked at me and said "smoke?" and before you know it, we were stoned out front of the hospital.

Alone & w/people are both good. Makes them both better. But I'd have to say w/people is my favorite because of the hysterical shit they do and the amazing, amazing sex you can have when u & ur partner are both blazed. Hells yes

And simpsons is not the ultimate hi show- That 70s show is SO much better, esp when they're in the stoner circle and you SO understand...And family guy kicks simpsons too

When I do get alone time. I do like lighting up alone in my room. But most of the time I am in my car lighting up before a tattoo.

And yodia206 is right. The sex is awesome!

When I am at the house, we smoke up my living room or game room up till everything is glossy!

I smoked by myself only once, I enjoyed it and will do it again. But more often than not I do it with my friends.

i smoke alone sumtimes but id much rather walk the 2 minutes down the road to my stoner buddies house and smoke with him, much prefer smoking with people to smoking alone, although smoking alone is fun too.

Well Standing at work all day gives me bad arthritis, yeah and im only 19 Its the concrete floor with no padding for a few years now has just gotten to my legs. So I Do smoke alone usually when I get off of work . I can just sit and take a bong rip.

But I prefer to smoke with my friends. Most of them don't get off till late at night. So I wait and around 9:30 its tokin time.

if people are around when i smoke, they get to smoke with me. if not, then i get to smoke alone. i don't care either way.

I used to smoke alone a lot, but now I just feel like I'm an addict when I do it too much by myself, so now I seldom smoke by myself, and smoke mainly with friends, or a smoking buddy. I just enjoy being able to talk to someone, and share all my crazy ideas/stories/experiences, rather than just thinking them to myself. I don't have a girlfriend at the moment, but when I do, I think I'll want to smoke with her more so.
