|  Really? That just seems...unethical. I know lobbyists and organizations buy votes all the time by donating to campaign funds, but for a signature on a petition? That's a hell of a lot of money! Sheet! I was thinking about the petition in DC...I got an e-mail from MPP saying if you can come to DC this week, and help us gather signatures, we'll pay for your transportation and logding as well as $2 per signature. I was drooling, but my hubby had to work leaving me with the kids. DARN! So, I'm not sure about Nevada, but the head of the Nevada group is takinga leave of absence with MPP to coordinate their efforts.

| Well, its a hell of a lot of money no matter if they are paying the petitioner or the signee. It's still $2 a sig. I don't consider it unethical, considering how much special interest groups donate to politicians to get favorable bills signed. Wow, I'd love to go gather sigs in DC, but can't take the time off work.

| AndieBear, that sounds like an ideal trip to strengthen the parent child bond! Heh heh! Teach them from an early age! And Mr.Mojorisin, vandalizing public property with pro-pot messages is hardly the best way to raise the public's support...
