i was burning alone when i saw this post so i thought i should write in something...

smoking alone is a different experience then smoking in a group. i will get really baked and think of crazy things. listening to pink floyd is pretty awsome too
without the group it seems easier to concentrate on every note

I don’t see how an event like smoking something would have to be done solely in a group. Would you consider someone that drinks or smokes tobacco alone to be addicted or a looser? Well maybe a looser being that their "choice substance" is more for more harmful then smoking MJ. I like smoking alone just as much as I do with other people. It's always a great experience regardless.

I've noticed that when I smoke by myself I get much higher than I would if I were to smoke with others around me. Being by yourself in a quite area with total darkness and a blunt or something makes your mind wander and you just feel great.

Some of my most fond memories of being stoned were alone (ex. the first time I heard Stairway to Heaven and Pink Floyd under the influence was alone) The only thing that sucks is when you plan what you're gonna do with your high (like watch a specific movie, go for a walk somewhere, etc..) and then you smoke up and forget all about it. For example, this one night when no one was home, I decided I'd smoke up..but no, crap, I still had homework to do...but I didn't really have time to get all my homework done and then smoke up. So I decided to hell with it, I'll just smoke up and THEN do my homework. I go downstairs (after tokin') to get my backpack and stuff, but I had to walk through the KITCHEN to get to it ( the kitchen, a place crawling with cabinets filled with food, is a very easy place for a stoned person to loose their concentration ). Next thing I know I'm chowing down and getting lost in Darkside of the Moon. Suffice to say, I didn't get any of my homework done that night. But w/e just sitting around high as a kite is absolutely groovy Happy Tokes Everybuddy! (be it alone or with good friends)

In fact I look forward to getting off of work and taking a nice bong hit or two while no one else is home. Afterwards I take the dogs for a walk, grab a cold one and watch the news while I wait for the wife to get home. To me it's time to yourself, time to unwind after a day at work.

i think smoking alone can be good. i get waaay higher and i start to reflect on stuff. but most of the time i just chill

I smoke by myself every day, and i love it. Tokin' with friends is cool, its fun to chill with your buddies while youre high, and i do that a lot too, but personally i prefer smoking alone, turning the lights out and listening to some toons. Also, the high from smoking alone is like none other, smoking in a group of 10 peope doesnt even compare to it. smoking by yourself also proves that you dont do it to be cool or whatever like some fags .
