There have been a few posts on this topic already. I think that there is absolutely nothing wrong with smoking alone and i think that its just as good as smoking with friends. Its just a different kind of high. Instead of running around or chilling with numerous people you can just kick back and enjoy doing things that you like. I say both are great

If you smoke alone, you're more of a stoner than someone who only smokes socially. Does this make it bad? Hell no! It just means that you and Mary have a more intimate relationship than someone who only smokes in groups. I actually like it more, because most people are annoying, and this only becomes more irritating when I'm high. Personally, I'd almost rather get high alone, or with my dog (who isn't smoking, just keeping me company and sharing the munchies ).

Whenever i smoke by myself its usually like I smoke, then i take a nice long bath while listening to music, and then a little later some friends come over or come pick me up and we go do something.

I love smoking by myself! At first I thought that I shouldn't do that, because it would mean I have a problem. But now I realize that there's nothing wrong with sparking a joint after school and enjoying the day. If there's friends with me who want to smoke too, then I'll sure smoke em up! Either way, marijuana's great.
I wouldn't think that anyone's 'sad' for smoking alone. You just need to see things from both sides of the fence before you make an assumption I guess.

smoking with 1-2 others is the way to go, i hate big groups w/ loud, idiotic people. smoking alone is crucial for wake and bakes and quick little tokes.

I'll smoke to that! It's usually just me and my girlfriend, and we are pot-heads. The only time any "friends" come over, now to think of it, is usually just to smoke my weed. I grow better weed than anything anyone sells around here, and I piss a lot of people off cause I won't sell them "an eighth" or whatever. I think smoking alone gets you in touch with your "you" side of you, as opposed to the "social" side of you. I'm high, and some day I'll die, and none of this will matter anyways. WHEW! I am ripped...

I don't like smoking with a lot of people, especially if they go to my school, because a lot of them are blabbermouths that don't hesitate to go to school and scream "Yeah, me and so and so got so TOASTED on saturday" with a teacher sitting next to them. I go to a gay private school where it has happened that a teacher has called home and told the parent about what they heard and the parent searched the room. that'd suck.
