I don't think he means how much does a gram cost, I think he means how much do you pay PER gram.

Say you bought 7 grams for $50 canadian.
you take $50/7=$7.14, then times by the exchange rate (this one in particular is 0.70)

$7.14(cdn)*0.7 = $5.00(US) is how much I pay per gram

But i saw a documentary on tv a few weeks ago on drug smuggling and they were saying that british organized crime groups could buy potent, high grade weed from south africa for about 30$ per KILO

( over 2 pounds)...can you imagine the profit they make off that?!
