Another quick question...

I can't have any smell of weed in my current house because it seeps and vents soooo bad. I just thought of a new method besides the old one that might work. It probably wont but... you know... when you're high you ALWAYS think you come up with good ideas...

What if I smoke in the bathroom (like normal) but when I exhale I put my mouth in the bathtub filled with water? Would just the water smell bad... or would it effect the room too?

whoa thats a cool idea! maybe you should do it while letting the water drain so it creates a suction towards the hole like a bong. nice stoned thought though mabe ill try it tommora when I FINALY GET MY WEED **knock on wood**

Do you mean blowing it into the water? If so the bubbles that come up would all contain the smoke you exhaled and would just rise out of the water, It might reduce the smell.

However I remember a trick about freezing a glass beer mug and blowing smoke into it and the smoke stays, maybe if you froze your bathtub you could do the same thing. You could try it with cold water.

But either way I think its kind of silly. If your gonna fill up a bathtub atleast take gravity bong hits! Dont waste that water!

I'd say just hook up a fan pointed out of a window and blow it into the fan. Have one of those new plug in airfreshners with the built in fan and that room will be smelling fine in no time.

I'd like to see what would happen if you tried the bathtub idea though... but is
it wise to submerge your head while you're stoned? Seems dangerous to me,
especially if you're smoking an indica dominant strain.

edit: if you try it, make sure you have someone with you who knows CPR.
You're taking a calculated risk, and should prepare for any negative consequences.

Calculated risk huh? Not trying to pick a fight here, but isn't jumping in a car with a complete stranger a calculated risk as well, and shouldn't one be prepared to deal with any unfortunate situations? You contridict yourself....talking risk management one minute and encouraging risky behavior the next.......I see the bathtub idea as a whole lot less of a risk than jumping in a car with a complete stranger

Lol yeah I definitely tried it last night. Hahaha It's not bad at all. If I had to rate it, i'd put it right smack dab between "Same as before" and "Better".

It works better too if you mix a little bit of soap in the water... just don't be stupid enough to drink it.

Or I guess if I wanted to try to be even more stealth about it, I could actually put my mouth on/near the drain and exhale into that.

Hot damn you think of things when you're high.

The only thing I would worry about is accidentally inhaling some water, which would probably happened if you started coughing underwater. I don't thing you would stop breathing, but "it's better safe that sorry."

I doubt blowing the smoke out underwater would effect the smell much. When you pull the smoke through the water in a bong it still has the same taste and smell to it. The only thing that would be different in this situation is more water. Maybe it'll decrease the smell some, but I doubt it would make a big difference.

Your best bet for getting rid of the smell is incense, a "spoof", or both. I'm sure you know what incense is, and an explanation of a spoof can be found in this thread; with a spoof, the only smell you'll get from smoking is the smoke coming off the bowl/joint, which isn't much and can be easily covered by lighting a stick of incense or a couple sprays of your favorite deodorizer.
