A bunch of you seem to be missing the point of this poll. Yes, there are no extra things in smoking a pipe, you aren't smoking paper or a blunt wrap, but that certainly doesn't make it any smoother.

The extra smoke from the paper in a joint makes it worse for you than a bowl, but it smooths out the smoke and makes it less harsh. We all know that you smoke extra things in papers and wraps, so don't select pipe because it's better for you. If you think that a pipe gives smoother hits however, then pick it.

Silly stoners.

Out of the three choices I think J's are by far the smoothest.

I wasn't sure between pipe and joint.... but I choose pipe because it's what I usually smoke with and I'm used to it. It gives me good hits. The joint is pretty smooth too, but I don't know if I would consider it better. I'd say about the same.
