The answer is blunt. yes the answer not my opinion. pipes r when you feel the most heat from smoking, joint paper is harsher and thinner paper with clear joint paper bein the exception, and if u have a very good blunt roller like myself, a blunt would be so smooth and great tasting with the least amt of blunt paper used while still having a long lasting and slow burning L.

BTW, seriously if you purposely NEVER smoked a blunt your an amateur.

Blunts are really smooth...I smoke tobacco so I don't really notice the way to blunt tastes. I remember though when non-smoking friends got started on blunts they thought it was the harshest thing in the world.

I dont know why everyone is saying blunts. Personally I love blunts and they are my favorite way to smoke but i wouldnt call them the smoothest. I do roll the blunts right as i have been rolling them for 2 years. If you get someone that cant roll them tight they are nearly impossible to take a large hit from as it burns so fast. They might be smooth for the 1st half of the blunt, but once you get passed half way and down to the roach, it is much hotter than any pipe. I good sized pipe is much smoother than a blunt if you smoke it right. I can take massive hits off pipes, but just normal hits off blunts.
After a long break from smoking if i smoke a blunt it tears up the inside of my throat while a pipe does nothing of the sorts.

The only tobacco i smoke is from blunts and i used to smoke about 4 blunts a day for a while but i still found them to be hotter than a pipe, i just prefer blunts for other reasons

Perfect blunts are the smoothest for me. Followed by joints, and then pipes.

Even tho I smoke more j's than any other way, I still would say a glass pipe is smoothest. I like blunts when I'm with friends, but for just myself, a medium-size joint is best. I use rice papers so it leaves little residue.

I picked joints in the poll, but bongs and vapes are my favorite for smoothness on the throat and lungs.
Joints are the easiest way for me to get a really big hit though and for that reason I love to roll one when its time to get HIGH. I've been grinding the herb and rolling small cone style joints with a small splint in the end to keep the toking end open. I haven't had a "runner" or "canoe" since using this method.

Pipes, glass or otherwise, are usually a bit too harsh for me, and cause coughing easily.
Blunts I can't get with. I don't enjoy the herb/tobacco mix. I also can't inhale the smoke in the same way or as deeply as a pipe/joint/bong/vape... it feels like smoking a cig.

Joints and blunts are harsher for me then pipes. I love joints and blunts but pipes are smoother for me.

Blunts are my pick. Most joints and many small pipes are about the same smoothness to me, although I hate the heat/harshness you can get from a bowl and occasionally jays. Overall I'd have to say Blunts, jays, then pipes.
