I tried alcohol before I ever smoked weed, and now if I had to choose between the two, I'd stay with marijuana. It's not a gateway, though. Some people imply that marijuana changes your brain chemistry to seek out other drugs in general. It's stupid. I have turned down other off-topics while smoking, even.

Lol You can prolly tell I'm bringing back some older threads. Because I've said what I've wanted to say in the newer ones lol.

I think that it is a gateway drug. But I also think that it's very easy to curb your desire to try other things and stick to just mary jane.

ive done many many off topics, but only once in awhile, and mj is the only drug ill do everyday. so no its not a gateway.

I voted for the third option. because in the words of Dave Chapelle. "I dont do drugs. Just weed."

but also I dont think that weed is a gateway drug, I only know people who have tried harder drugs at my school, not people who actually do them. except for one guy, but he only uses it occasionally.

I think that it is a gateway drug only because of the point said earlier about the people who sell marijuana are usually not only selling marijuana.

Personally I have done different drugs but the one I enjoyed the most is the green leaf. I have done drugs such as xanax. When I started smoking I knew people who did xanax and I always said that I wouldn't do it. Then one night I decided to try it, because I heard it was a cool experience and it didn't have anything to do with marijuana. Thats just me and I'm still gunna stick with my original answer and say that marijuana is a gateway drug..... but it doesn't bother me because its your choice on what you do.

Weed itself is not a gateway drug. But a few of the people you meet while doing weed, may do other substances, and you could be influenced by them.
