Default Guilt???

If you made $100,000 per year doing next to nothing, would you feel bad that you weren't contributing to society or that you have no real purpose in life? Or would you buy a bunch a new car, a new house, travel, and live it up? Or is $100,000 not good enough, in which case I'd like to know what you would do about making more money.

I am just curious.

Ok im stoned but ill give it a shot. First off a hundred grand is ALOT to me and how i live, so i would not have a problem taking it. If works easy an fun, then you've gotten lucky, everyman wants your position. But if you feel like you have no purpose, then look within yourself for a true identity. I would buy a new car, house, etc, too. But first square away family, invest and save, be smart.

Me personally im a hard worker so that money is huge in my eyes. Id work my ass off for that paycheck.

I dont see why I would feel guilty.. look at all the other people that make mucho money doing easy stuff.. and the ones who do important things get paid crappily

Professional atheletes get paid TONS AND TONS of money to play games..

but teachers get paid crap for contributing tons to society by educating the young.. not to mention having to put up with the students, grade homework on their personal time, and are out of a job for summer unless they find a part time job

haha, I actually want to be a high school teacher so I definately won't be making that $100,000. Would I take the lifeless job that paid $100,000? Yes... as long as it wasn't long hours or high stress or anything like that. But just your normal 9-5 and all that jazz, sure. Then I would look for meaning in life outside my job, volunteer at something I really enjoyed. Maybe do this for a few years and then have a very very early riterment.

IM just going to let everyone know. I am NOT trying to brag.
Real estate is where all of the money is at. When my dad bought his first hotel, He was bringing in money and then bought another one. and another one..

anyways. long story short. my dad buys the hotels. Basically brings money to the bank and plays golf. It is exactly what i want to do.

He did work hard to get that first hotel though. we were poor for many years until he did this.

Anyways. the current count is 4 hotels, 2 buildings and 3 apartment complexes.

Again i was not trying to brag. Just get something that you know what to do with (ex. my dad and real estate) and build off of it. That is how my family did it.

its real nice. but my dad is a tobacco smoker and an alcholic. My dad is not what you would typically think of an alcholic. But he drinks to get drunk. He is not the type of person that will sit in fron of a tv and drink but more on the golf course.
And my sister does e and other off topics and it truely hurts me seeing her do these things along with stealing money from my parents.

But anyways. Money truely does not buy everything.
My sis and my dad are two reasons of why that is.

love to all
