If I believe in god I would probably say yes, but...... I don't really have a belief except there is a higher bieing out there. What makes me mad about most religions they MOST people try to force it on you it get tirring after a while ya know? In the past 2 months I have been asked to go to 5 different "groups" to help you start beiliveing again.

Im not saying all but alot of them do ya know?

I don't believe it is one bit immoral, but that is because I don't think the bible is any more important than any other book I've ever read. I believe that there is the possibility of a higher power, but I do not think that any human being has the ability to know what that higher power truly is.

Whether or not something is immoral is very subjective... It really depends on the company you're in. If I was hanging out with a friend who I know is christian, then I wouldn't think about burning a page from the bible to get high. Just because a certain group believes that the bible is holy doesn't mean anything to me, honestly. If I was alone and desperate to get high, with nothing available except the pages from the back of the bible, then I wouldn't lose a second of sleep over rolling myself a bible blunt.

I understand what you mean, but if I were to roll a bible blunt it would not be to show contempt for the christian religion. I, like you, would never intentionally disrespect something held sacred to many just for the pleasure of being a rebel. But if for whatever reason I did decide to smoke a bible blunt, I don't think that anybody has the right to tell me that I'm a "immoral" for doing so. You are obviously a Christian; something that I do not hold against you. I think that whether you mean for them to or not, your religious beliefs do influence your opinion on this issue.

I have a question for you: Do you eat beef? Because if you do, you're desecrating one of the strongest beliefs of the Indian culture. I'm sure that you're aware that people in that part of the world think that cows are holy; we have all had (or will have) World History class at some point of our schooling.

I guess that my point with all of this is that we can't please everybody. No matter how I live my life, there will be somebody somewhere who hates me for it. We pick and choose our actions for ourselves, and I won't choose to bend over backwards to comply with the moral beliefs of anybody who isn't me.

I think that one of the saddest tragedies in the history of mankind is that we all like to try to make people conform to our beliefs.. From the drug war to holy wars, and practically everything inbetween, I think that the world would be better off if we all just started minding our own ****ing business.

i say toke that thing up if you want to. it's your book so you can do what you'd like with it. even though i'm an athiest, i must say that you should NOT smoke someone else's bible (assuming they like their bible) -- but that's just because it's wrong to damage someone elses property.

ya i totally know what you mean, i believe in god and wouldnt use bible for rolling paper, not only are you defacing the bible your burning it and hurting your body. but ya most of the religion people are like car salesman, i never really got why they want everyone to believe what they believe, pisses me off
