No they don't... They're just pretending to "know" that you're stone just to see how you react. Cops are full of it. Out of the 20+ I've encountered, only 2 were actually honest with me about things. i dont think the driving high thing can be generalized. marijuana affects people differently. some people can drive high, others cant.

There is no way that driving high is 'safe' but it is not hard if you are on a certain level. If you are completely couch-locked and out of your head then DO NOT DRIVE. But I have been on a level on enough occasions in which I can drive.

it's surprisingly safer than it sounds. to me it seems safer than driving drunk. i'm not the only one who drives better high than not. which is reedickyoulus.

It may be safer than driving drunk but driving under the influence of any illegal substance (some legal ones for that matter) is not displaying appropriate behavior. To prove that us tokers can be a smart, productive part of society we need to stress the importance of rules on the road as much as the next person.

When you get behind the wheel. You put peoples lives in your hands. But, the overwhelming fact is that they are mostly caused by simple human error. I think I am a damn good driver. I also respect the rules of the road, and I am always respectful to my fellow drivers who share the same road. I cannot tell you how dangerous it is with people and cell phones. Every time I see an idiot do something, they are yapping away at a cell phone.

That is my rant for the day, because some dude was being an idiot this morning and cut me off and I had to swerve while he had his head and phone up his ass.

im not sure of the law's in every state but hear in texas driving while stoned is the same charge as drunk driving so i say its just not worth the risk

It is consider a DUI in a sense so I would assume that in alot of states you could be prosecuted similarly.
