Anyway, I've been self employed in variuos sectors of the Real Estate industry since 1990 and recently started working for a major corp.

Right now, I'm in Advertising/Marketing

I've always made about 45-50k a year with some years topping out in the mid 80's

I'm married with 2 kids and own a house

If you saw me on the street, you would think I was some whitebread motherfucker.....

Damn... do business people smoke weed more or less than other professions?

I doubt it.. corporate world is so tough on them (us).

This is what bothers me. I don't see many successful people for the exception of artists, musicians, and other liberal art people who smoke weed. Some really top top CEOs might because they couldn't give a damn about being arrested and such.

But I don't see people ages 20-30 who are in the business world working on their career who do it.

The thing I hate about weed is that it takes my motivation to reach further, which is another reason why I stopped toking.

When you're always high you just want SOME job that pays the bill and pays for your MJ dose...not good, not all. It would be pathetic not go as far in your as you can because of Marijuana.

Then we also have to define what "successful" is.....

I've learned that success is different to each person

Since I've gotten older and have kids, my idea of success has changed dramatically.

Now, anymore .....all I try to be is a "succesful" human being

All the material things, recognition, awards etc are bullsh*t and can be taken at any time (and usually are)

Picture your definition of success and live it.....then you are successful

It's funny how easy it is to stray. I work in sales in the mechanical and technical field and my husband in security. The job I recently started was 27,500 and my husband a couple less. We can manage well.
