| I was recently in a conversation about a friends concern for another friends recent marijuana usage. Within the last two weeks it has increased to daily usage, personnally, from a at-times more freqeunt user, I perceive his freqeuncy of use as not such a concern. I know many people who use less marijuana and also people who smoke several times a day. So this is my qeustion How do you feel regarding your current use of marijuana, and the patterns of use of other users? For me, I smoke about 3-4 times a week on average, occasionly once or twice a night. This has grown from smaller usage in the past. I dont really consider high usage a serious concern, but would be more concerned if this usage became serious long term-heavily daily use. I have had times when I would smoke many times a week, and some good people I have known for a long time smoke daily, and I am fine with that also.

| For a normal, chemically-balanced, healthy person "heavy" usage would probably be more than once a day. Once a day could be considered heavy, but that would only be if the person smoked a decent amount in that one session. The more you spread out your bud (the more sessions you have) during a day the more burnt out you'll be likely to feel towards the end / next morning. Some people need not smoke more than a few times a week, so for those particular people everyday would be quite a lot for them. I usually smoke at least 2 times a day, but I find that if I smoke every other day the highs are a lot better, and <hypocrisy> waiting till 4:20 to blaze up is as crucial as a fresh wake and bake first thing in the morning. </hypocrisy>

| i smoke everyday at least once a day. this is a high useage for me, as i'm a ****ing schizoid. i think the bottom line is that different people respond in different ways, and that it doesn't take a ****ing psychiatrist or a counsellor to tell you your going ****ed up. LISTEN TO YOUR BRAIN. anxiety, depression and paranoia are all stubborn indicators for cutting down, hard as it may be. when you talk of your conversation about your friend 'using too much,' i am assuming you mean something along the lines of 'should he be doing this ****?' talk to him. if his brain seems to be going soft (lol) then ****ing tell him. it took me a while to realise where 'im at' concerning head****edness in general, and i wish i'd had more people on my case.

| I started out smoking about once a month or less. It graduated to twice a month, once a week, 3 times a week, every night, then when I got into law school I cut back to only when I didn't have class the next day thurs fri sat and maybe sunday. |
