Post Extradite Marc Emery?

So, what do you think? What's your valuable opinion? This is the topic;

Should Canadian authorities allow Marc Emery to be extradited to be tried in U.S. Courts?

To make it interesting, leave whether your Canadian or not (optional of course). I have a tiny theory that Canadians will give a damn a little more

EDIT: Sorry, apparently you can't add a poll to a thread after 5 minutes from the creation of the thread. I guess it took me that long to think of some witty options and to smoke a joint and discuss some stuff at the same time. It was a pretty good one.

I guess just add a comment with your opinion below!

I think a mod should close this thread. I was surprised to see it open still!

Default No way!

For those 2 of you Americans who voted no, consider this: Marc has paid over half a million dollars in taxes to our government from the exact same source as he is now being charged with. I'm sorry, but if the government is taxing him and is fully aware where the money is coming from, there is no way they should extradite him.
This is yet another example of the US putting unreasonable pressure on our government; I cannot imagine our government getting this aggravated on their own when this has being going on for 10 years. America has no business deciding on our laws, and as far as I'm concerned, if anyone wants to have any say in what we do on our own soil, they need to be citizens of our country. I'm willing to bet 90% of the people running the US know next to nothing about Canada, yet they try to dictate our laws. No offense intended to the Americans on this forum, as you all seem pretty open-minded, but this is ****ing ridiculous. Let Canada dictate law enforcement in our own country.
Anyone interested in the Emery extradition should check out Pot Tv, it has a lot of really interesting information on video.

I'm Canadian. and obviously I voted no.

Seems like I'm going to have to move to another country to escape American "Law"...maybe North Korea...

I voted for extradition. Yes, i know many people will take that as a sign I'm anti-legalization or whatever....frankly, I don't care. I'm not anti-legalization. However, until legalization happens, he committed a crime. Wether or not he has been prosecuted in Canada is totally irrelavent. If he hadn't made the choice to start shipping to the US, he wouldn't have been arrested....simple as that. He invited US prosecution the day he started shipping to the US. HE BROKE US LAW....what difference does it matter where his headquarters are? The laws concerning the importation of illegal items in the US have no concern about the origins of the substance....as long as they can prove an individual or group of individuals was responsible for the importation, the'll be charged. Arguing that we're inflicting our laws on Canada makes as much sense as saying we're inflicting our laws on Columbia for arresting those who export cocaine from there and import in the US. While i realize there is a world of difference between the items imported, its seen the same under tha law, and always has been. I see no reason for emery to suprised by this. He should have been prepared for this.

i'm a little vague on this whole issue, so correct me if i'm wrong. but what about sensi-seeds and the countless other companies importing to the us? it seems to me that emery's extradition is badly politicised...i.e. he was too damn popular and too damn blatant.
