I've thought about carrying a knife recently b/c I had an incident the other day where I would've loved to have one just in case. More of a threat than anything else... But I don't have any knives. My pally, ADIDAS, has one dope ass collection tho.

Knife laws make no fucking sense. Like it's really going to make that big of a difference if it has spring or not.

You can kill someone with a butter knife if you know what you're doing (and are a ninja).

That just makes no sense to me. Maybe because I'm a girl and don't get it.

I carry one for my job (i teach sailing) and usually just forget to take it out of my pocket. It was usefull once when a kid tried to rip me off, I got him to even give me a little extra. Never saw that bitch again.

yeah, but only in a situation when i know that no one will trip out about it. with my friends it can do anything from eradicate boredom, to, well cut and open stuff.
if im going to a keg (can i say that?? guess ill find out) i wont bring it because of all the stupid kids who would think i was either scared of getting jumped, or because if i got jumped i would probably pull it out of pure instinct, and i neither want to jig anyone or send a message like "this is now a knife fight!"

i feel that my blade is only shady when i hide it. if its visible like if the clip hangs over the pocket edge i think people are less afraid that i will use it for stupid shit.
by the way i have a sweet gerber AR-30, i think its called, but no digital camera right now to post it.

used to carry a tactical knife but got in trouble for it so nah not for the moment

i carry my leatherman around when i remember to. its always coming in handy whether im cutting up some weed or cleaning out the bowl.

I carry a 4 1/2" blade on me at all times, folding of course.

I carry it less for protection as much for the fact that it's fucking usefull. If I got into a fight I'd fight fair, with no weapon, but if somebody else had a weapon I'd sure as hell pull out my knife. I'm all about fairness.

I WILL NOT even mention a knife in a fight unless the other person or persons is armed.

The only way I'd bring out the knife would be if that person or persons were out for my life, or were REALLY trying to hurt me. A friend of mine got jumped about 2 months ago by two dudes that were both armed, one with a crowbar and one with a baseball bat. They fractured the back of his fucking skull. Plus, he was unarmed...AND JUMPED by them.

Just some FYI, if somebody ever did that shit to me and I lived, they wouldn't.

Anyway, I like my knife to be sharp, if it wasn't it would be useless. Thus I also have and keep two high quality sharpening stones at my residence. Either way, just remember, knives are tools and should only ever be used as weapons if your life, or another's, is on the line.

Yeah, most often I have a knife on me. I grew up in the country, and having a knife was basically just like putting on your underware...you just weren't fully clothed unless you had one. These days, I carry one of two switchblades I own, or a folding Buck with a 4.5 in blade.

cutting up weed,
stabbing open cans of pineapple,
roughing up 12 year olds in the park,
hunting in the Amazon, you know, the usual stuff.


Just kidding. I don't carry a knife. I've never been in a situation where I needed one.
