The lighters i carry on me i take them off rigth away along with the sticker, i usually draw a leaf or something on there so nobody steals them.. but some of the lighters i keep at my hosue have them on still but i hardly use those

Yep, always. I find it a horrible annoyance to smoke with that damn safety on. My mother (yeah she burns too lol) hates it when I do that because she says that without the safety, it hurts her fingers...it starts to hurt mine too after a while with the Bic's ridged flick-ey part, but it's worth it with the safety off.
My wallet chain has a metal belt clip, and what I do is slide one part under the safety and just pull. Ping! Safety flies off...somewhere lol

You know, like, that little metal clip on a Bic (cheap, generic lighters don't have them) that makes it harder to flic. It's in between the two grindy-lookin' things that you flick it with. Like Bowlblaze said...just to discourage children from using them.
