I'm shocked at the amount of lighters I Bic with the safety still on. I absolutely hate those things. I thought everyone took the safety off, but I guess I'm wrong. So, do you take it off?

sure do. its usually the first thing i do when i buy a new lighter.

Always. When I get really stoned those things become a pretty bad annoyance.

If I'm smoking alot, they start to give me blisters. So yes, I do take it off.

i always remove the safety, they piss me off.

I always do, as soon as i get the lighter. I usualy buy by the 5 packs, so i when i get home, i sit and rip off allthe saftys, and also take off the warning sticker that is one them.
Only then is the lighter ready to be used lol.

I have been smoking for the last 32 years, always buy Bics & have not seen a safety in 10 years! BTW - I took 'em off as soon as I bought the pack. Where ARE you guys that you still have safeties???

yeah i take the safety off usually.

i yoinked this one by accident and not remembering how one night, took it off when nobody claimed it the next day and kept it.

not really that annoying but i do it anyway :P something to do with my time, eh?
