Default Would you get an animal high?

This is kind of like a morality issue I suppose.

Would you ever consider getting an animal high just for kicks?

I voted no, especially if it's my pet or a cool animal. They'd certainly be freaking out because when humans smoke they expect the high, but for animals it'd be pretty damn spontaneous. SURPRISE!

I know my cat would FREAK, or my old cat I suppose. He's not used to anything out of the ordinary.

I might do it if like a dog killed my daughter or something... for retribution purposes. But probably not. HAHA.

Peace.

I voted yes because there wasn't an option saying something like "Only if it didn't mind". It also depends what animal. Of course I would get a rat high if possible, then kill it or something. I think the only animal I would consider getting high would be a dog. And not just because I don't like them

I have an old dog, and she's got arthritis pretty bad, and she's really front heavy so her hind legs are kinda screwy.. Many times I've wondered if perhaps getting her baked would help the pain? I havn't yet, because I'm not sure if it would make her sick or something, but... If you think about it, it helps human pain, why not dogs?. Me and my friends always smoke pot around her, she's a big old dog that loves everyone, so when there is a croud around she tends to come to us and lay down in the same room... We've also hotboxed the room and sometimes we'd blow a couple hoots towards her and she would lick the air and thump her tail and come towards us when we stopped. How do we know dogs even get high?
Either way, I don't think forcing an animal to do inhale foul-smelling second hand potsmoke is morally right. I'm not voting on this poll cause I don't agree with the

ganjagirl, from personal experience, yes it will help.
i have only gotten my dog(ex-dog ) high once, he too was old and had some arthritis and was shakey when hed try to stand. we smoked him up like 2 hits, and he seemed to be in a LOT less pain, was happier, wagging his tail, wanting to be pet.
you know the only real problem i have with it is the smoke, dogs have very sensitive noses and that smoke is not good for it. id rather feed it to a dog if i was going to get it high.
we have 3 more dogs, i have got 0 of them high. one of them i let smell my weed, he jumped up and back like 4 feet. hes a funny dog when you are stoned, but not for getting stoned.

I said yes because I've gotten my cat high before. Well, I suppose I don't know if she was ever high per se, but I've blown smoke in her face and she closes her eyes and just relaxes and enjoys it.

I'd never force an animal. If I blow smoke in her face and she runs away, that's the end of it, I won't make her inhale any smoke she doesn't want to inhale. If she goes for it, that's good, if she doesn't, that's good too.

But in my experience, she likes it every once in a while - especially while she's sunbathing in the window on a nice afternoon.

I never purposely got any of my animals high.

However, my dog when I was a teenager (on 2 occasions) grabbed the roach right out of my hand and ate them. He only did it twice because the second time he did it the roach was still lit. He didn't get hurt but after that I had to be careful where I held the jay.

A few years back, my 2 dogs took a bag off my coffee table. They ate 1/4 oz between them and they were really messed up. They threw up green and were very unsteady on their feet. They couldn't jump on the couch (couldn't jump that high) and would sway back and forth while standing still. I was so scared at the time and thought about calling the vet but was scared about having to admit they ate weed. A few hours later they were back to normal.

We laugh about it now but at the time I was terrified it would somehow permanently f*ck them up. After they were back to normal I was a little pissed off that they ate ALL my weed.

Now, my dogs sit right next to me when I'm breaking up - hoping I'll drop something. One of them loves stems and the other loves roaches. Like I said, I don't intentionally give it to them but every now and then they find some on the garage floor that I dropped I think if it grew wild my dogs would be eating it all the time.

No. For no other reason than it's just a waste of weed.

I voted no,
animals, don't have the choices we as humans have...

On the other hand, a buddy of mine has a cool dog that loves to get high!

no joke, when I come over the dog will sit between us and wait, as soon as my buddy lights the joint, his dog gets up and nudges his way up to my friends face, as he blows out the hit (slowly) the dog licks the smoke, then follows the joint to me and patiently waits for another hit.

This is one smart dog, after about 3-4 hits she goes and lays down and just enjoys her buzzz, funnyist dog I've ever seen, and a tru stoner too
