I have no idea, I burn alot of incense and it has yet to go off so I doubt it.

The smoke detectors work in my house, except in my room and my brother's room, where we took the batteries out so we can smoke at night when the parents are asleep.

It's funny how a computer might do something out of the ordinary and people will spend hours and days running virus scans, adware scans, spyware scans, disk defrags, disk scans, disk cleanups, driver upgrades, driver rollbacks, Internet research, System Restore, complete reformats and reinstalls, etc...yet when the smoke alarm isn't working, it's the most inconvenient task in the world to accomplish.

Yes, they do. They don't go off when I cook or shower or burn incense, but I've lived in apartments where they have. It scares the crap out of me!
