lol, the one in my kitchen just went, but nobodys changed it. I think the one upstairs feel down awhile ago, and no ones bothered to fix it.....

mine do and always go off when someone burns something. they are so damn sensitive. and awhile back they were going on and off in the middle of the night for no reason.

I took the batteries out in mine because it was too sensitive. Any cooking or showering would set it off. Once, it WOKE ME UP at 5AM when there was no reason for it to go off. I'd rather die in my sleep from smoke inhalation than be driven permenantly insane by my smoke detector.

We've got a few that have had the batteries removed because they were too sensitive. My parents always set them off from cooking. I think there could be one upstairs that still works.

I hope we don't have any fires.

i only have 1 in my apartment, and as far as i know it works.
I take the battery out a lot caus ei smoke a lot in here and it sets it off soemtimes.

Fuck dude, I fucking hate my smoke detector. It's only gone off once while I was smoking but I got in alot of trouble, and it's the fucking worst when I'm all totally chill, light up some incense, everything's all good and then that ear-piercing BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP and my dog whimpers downstairs...

and as a matter of fact, just yesterday I walked through the house and decided we needed four of them...we have only one...and it doesn't work...

It is actually on my things to do this weekend. Install smoke detectors.
