Have you ever been either watching TV or been involved in the middle of something and stopped to get/do something else and suddenly discovered you've forgotten what you went to go get/do....?

So, does this ever happen to you..?? if so how often..??

my story:

yesterday I started out the day doing just fine, I was working at my puter and got up to get some disks from another room, I actually walked into the other room and then stood there like a lost child, it wasent until I walked back to my puter desk and sat down that I realized what I had gotten up for.

I'm finding this has happened to me maybe 3/4 times a week,

its so funny even when I'm not high, you can stand in that room and look all around and find that you have to walk back out(almost back-tracking your steps) to figure out why you went in there in the first place.

So lets hear your story,

I was always a bit forgetful, way before I started to burn.

I have the exact same problem you do, but usually only when I've burned that day. I also have chronic pain syndrome, which is a bit hard on the memory by itself.

One thing I do probably once a week is make myself a drink, take it to my room, then I go to the bathroom or something, go to the kitchen , make a drink again, only to find the full drink I made before when I return to my room. Doh!

Yea I feel for ya there, I've gone as far as making something to eat and drink, walk all the way upstairs only to find I forgot my silverware, I feel so dumb sometimes its a wonder I get through my days sometimes

Now, which thread am I in again?
I think I'm prematurely senile, I can never remember ANYTHING. If I go to the store to get milk, I can guarentee that milk will not get back into my fridge. If you want me to do something, don't ask me to do it after whatever I'm doing because there's literally no chance I will remember. And no, this has nothing to do with weed; I've never had ANY short term memory.

I got up from my desk to put some ice in my bong,but decided to go to the bathroom first.So, I get up,go to the bathroom and come back and sit in my chair.After a couple minutes I remembered I was gonna put some ice in my bong,so I get up and walk into the kitchen,open up the freezer, and grab a ice cream sandwich, then back to my desk and eat my ice cream.When I was done with my ice cream I grabbed my pipe,and as I lit it I thought"Hey,I need some ice for my bong!"So,I walk into the kitchen,go to the freezer,get some ice out,then realized I'd left my bong in the living room.I walk back into the living room,go over to my desk,and sit down.Then it finally came to me that I had gotton up 30 minutes earlier to put some ice in my bong.
That's funny.

Only when I'm high.....

I don't smoke ALL that much. At most, I smoke 3 or 4 times in a week and that's usually a joint split between my gf and I or a few shared bowls.

Interesting that a lot of people suffer short term memory loss a LOT even when not high....but I suppose there's some real heavy weed smokers in here.
