This is pretty straight forward.

I noticed today when coming home from class that every single person I saw sitting in their apartment was sitting in front of a TV.

I don't have cable so I watch no TV at all and the concept of spending your day in front of one seems very alien and wasteful to me. Even though I spend my day in front of a computer it somehow seems entirely different.

I spend about 3 hours watching things on TV.

when theres football on the TV, my ass is glued to my couch with a remote in hand. thats when i spend 3 hours or more when watching TV.

if you watch 3 hours of stuff like MTV Cribs and things like Vh1 best week ever, then you've got a problem lol

2-3 but I am usually doing somthing else at the same time. Some homework that doesn't require my full attention or something, so the time is not completly wasted. I wish I didn't watch as much though.

none really i dont have cable, if i watch tv its generally just for 10-20mins, i dont like tv that much, except that 70's show.
other than that id rather be sleeping or eating..using my time more 'constructivly'

UFC, the simpsons, that 70's show, sometimes ill leave the t.v. on all day even if im not watching it.

Depends what you mean by "watch TV". I voted for "zero hours". See, I don't watch anything on satellite/cable (that type of TV), but if you mean physically watching a TV set, i'll say 1-2 hours. I usually just watch a DVD or half a DVD before bed. That's about it.

So much crap on TV these days, nothing much appeals to me.

Yeah that's exactly what I mean. Stuff on TV channels, not movies or anything like that. Hell I wouldn't even count watching DVDs of TV shows like The Office because you don't have to sit through the mind numbing ads.

I used to have sky (UK equivalant of cable) so i used to watch it quite a bit, but now probably only around an hour a day.
