My little glass spoon I have now I clean out the bowl after every session (like 1.5+ grams). like, I swab it with rubbing alcohol to get it all clean like new. but I leave all the tar and whatnot in the pipe, because I dont want the colours to stop changing ad figure it'll help catch ash. but when i had a much long sherlock I never cleaned the bowl, only poked a hole through when it clogged. it gave a really earthy hit, I loved it. but yeah, how about ytou guys?

I clean my spoon at least once a week with 99% Rubbing Alcohol and Rock Salt. Basically homemade 420 Cleaner that works just as well for much less out of your wallet.

I haven't smoked in 2 weeks but when I was smoking daily I'd clean my spoon about once a month or so, or whenever I felt it was nessesary. Always used rubbing alcohol.

There is a bottle of green cleaning liquid called Grunge Off you can get at most head shops which is specifically made for cleaning resin and tar. My buddy cleaned out our glass bong we had been using for two months nearly every day and it cleaned it so well i could have passed it for new... no smell and no stains.. grab yourself some of that and soak your spoon in it with some warm or hot water and you'll be surprised how well it cleans.

lol i let my pipe get nasty before it's cleaned. and nasty as in black as night.... and some times, because my pipe is so big and the mouth peices are soo big when ever some one knocks on my door i try to hide it quick and its usually under my blanket. so i get all these fibers and hairs stuck inside in the resin. when i see any hairs in there i clean that shit quick.

so not very often, and with hot water, like in the shower and some times with rubbing alcohol. lol taking a shower with your pipe is kinda weird, but it works for me!

I soak my pipe in a mix of 1/2 alcohol 1/2 water, over night. Then I pour a bit of salt in the bowl, and then run some hot water through the bowl to get the salt inside the pipe. I give it a good shake, and pour out through the mouth piece. Any gunk that didn't get loosened by the alcohol sure gets molested by the salt.

i've been smokin out of my bowl pretty much everyday (minus some weekend when i went to my moms house) for a month and i havnt cleaned it yet. i guess i probly should. probly get better hits. anyway, i heard from a friend an easy way to clean out ur bowl is to put it in boiling water and the rez will all float to the top, then u just drain it i assume. i've never tried it b4 but maybe i will try it. if any1 decides to trie it, let me kno how it worked. and also, if ur gunna do it make sure u got some kind of air freshener cause it will stink up ur house.

I go for the alcohol/salt method. I make an alcohol bath, let my glass soak overnight, or for several hours. THen I will pour some salt into the bowl and pour some alcohol in and shake it around. Rinse, repeat as necessary. I use Q-tips if i really need to remove hard to reach gunk.

I clean my bowls probably once every 2-3g has been smoked in them. This can vary depending on if I actually have rubbing alcohol around, and how productive I feel like being. I would love to have a clean bowl on my bong for every session, but I kinda like my spoon to build up some tar becuase it helps with crap being sucked through and making it to my throat!
