I think it has a lot to do with your job. At my job the second half goes much faster just because there is more to do. When I was cutting trees, the second half goes slower because your thirsty/soar/tired/just ate lunch and your body wants to pass out.

I think it s the 1st half of work. I usually wake and bake, and by the time I'm ready for another its about lunch time (half-way thru). Plus our busy hrs are in the morning making it go by faster. Little slower in the afternoon, I just dread the last 2 hours, seems like it goes by way too slow.

2nd half for me...When I come in, I have to prep veggies and all that boring shit, but closer to the end of the night everyone's in a rush to get the food out and exactly right, then we have to start breaking down the kitchen, and that goes by really fast. I work from 4-11, and after about 8 the night just flies by.

it varys depending on when we get busy. i change oil and they come at random times. if were busy time flys if were not vusy it seems like days.

i work 4 and a half hour shifts (YAY! ) but that will come to an end this summer (boooo, i dissliked them 8 and a half hour shifts all last summer)

but i'd say the first half goes by the fastest, 2 hours could go by and i would be amazed by that, then after 3 hours into my shift i take my break and then the last hour and half goes by what seems just as slow as the 3 hours before then, so i would say my 1st half goes fastest
