When I had my son, I hemmorrhaged.
The docs were tidying things up, and I started gushing blood. When the doc stopped the bleeding, her scrubs were caked black from the neck down with blood, and it was spilling onto the floor and stuff. I had to stay in the hospital a while, because my blood pressure was way low, and they wouldn't let me go see my baby because they didn't think I had enough blood to go to my head if I stood LOL
But, I didn't have to have a transfusion, they just pumped me full of 5 IV bags to help my blood pressure go back up.
Thats the closest I've come to croaking!

twice... first time was in 7th or 8th grade, i can't remember which. anyway, I was taking a shortcut w/ my buddy to the bikeshop, we were riding our bikes. so there's this huge hill, more like 3 bigass hill in a raw on top of each other. at the bottom is a soccer field. the thing is, you used to be able to go right down the hills, then shoot off this 10 or 15ft mini-cliff thing and land safely in the field... unknown to me n my bud the town put in a burm-thing to keep dirt from getting into the field. I hit it going mad quick and went a good 10 ft up (according to m friend nd some people at the soccer game I landed in). I hit my head so hard it cracked my helmet all apart, but my head was fine my face though...

the other time was a couple months ago, before I quit doing certain off-toppic painkillers. I was in my grandma's car, my cousin was in the backseat (we're almost the same age and she knew what I was doing). All of a sudden my nose started bleeding and I got all pale, puked on the side of the road, dizzy, etc. for like 1/2 an hour. It scared the living shit out of me, and a week after I went back to marijuana only

when my friend was younger something happened (some serious sickness thinger) and when he was in the hospital he was legally dead for like 3 or 4 seconds. Now thats scary.


EDIT: Oh god then theres my teacher this year. When he was a child he was on a field trip when the bus flipped or something and he remembers being next to his friend watching him die. He pulled some kids out of the car but he was the only survivor. It was so sad he wathed his friend bleeding and being dead . THen another time while he was in high school in New York he had a meeting with some Yale people (a college meeting) in the first tower that got hit on one of the levels that got hit (I don't know the number sorry ). What saved his life was lacrosse in his school if you miss any school (say for a college meeting) You acn go to any sports after school so he rescheduled(sp?) the meeting and the day he was supposed to go (9/11 if you don't know) the building got hit by a plane.

when I was four, I was jumping on my bed and I landed on my head, through a glass table onto the floor, cracked my head right open, and broke fingers, which left me unconsious all at once. Luckily, it was infront of my mom and grandma so they called 911

Never been that close.

One time I was swimming under the dock and came up a little too early and hit my head fairly hard on the bottom of the dock. I think I almost blacked out but it really scared me because I don't have a very big lung capacity and I remember being out of breath when I hit my head.

When I was learning how to walk I fell and slammed my face into the coffee table. It jabbed a tooth right back into my gums and came back out crooked. My teeth have never been right and I unfortunately never got braces.

while working at a gas station when i was 17 I was robbed at gun point and when the robbers plans went to shit (I wasnt a manager w/the keys) they decided to just take me with them. tied up and scared shitless with two crazy dudes pointing guns at me and wanting to dump me in the river off this bridge I thought i was never going to make it out of this alive. So after a long night of unspeakable things I managed to get thrown from the moving car. All the while my wonderful mother had the cops convinced I prolly had planned the robbery.
A couple of drunks found me on the side of the road and brought me to the oh so friendly state police. Who didnt belive me.Thanks mom! anyway she did eventually come and get me a couple hours later. I was dumped way outside of town like 100 or so miles from home. I went to the hospital for a rape kit and and stiches and after a couple months I got a call the they had caught them that they were locked up for something else and bragging about a robbery/rape they had gotten away with. so yeh thats the night I almost died. I dont talk about that much.

The only time I was close to death was when I was about 7 years old, I was flying with my grandma to Florida to go visit relatives. When the pilot went to put the landing gear down, it got stuck. I don't really remember much, just everyone got really quiet when the pilot told us and I could hear praying and crying and they had to spray some kind of foam on the runway so we wouldn't catch on fire. We landed on the belly and it was really rough and everyone was screaming. They had to let down the big yellow slide and I remember they made me slide down with a male flight attendant because I was too little to go by myself and my grandma was too weak to get a good grip on me.

I almost died once or twice as a baby... I had the crup that could've killed me, I had to live in a plastic bubble for a lil bit in the hospital... alone. When I was 7 I almost drove a van by accident down a hill into a house... instead I hit a lawn mower which saved my life. Prolly more times than that.
Still here though... just unlucky I guess.

When I was 7, me and my brother was screwing around by a busy highway. I had chased a snake trying to catch it. Got a little to close to the roadway. As I stepped, stooped over trying to grab the snake, into the path of a car passing by at approx. 45 mph ( the driver was a friend of my moms, she was a girlscout troup leader and had a car full of girlscouts with her at the time ). I hit the rear passenger corner panel with the top of my head ( yeah, I know, this explains alot, eh ). The impact threw me about 20 ft. into the air ( while my brother watched on ). I landed in the the center of the four lane highway. Woke up a few minutes later to a crowd of people looking over me. Got up and walked around a little befor my mom arrived after being called with the news by a friend of the family. I was rushed to the hospital, and to the doctors and everyone elses amazement, I was ok. No broken bones or anything, just some scratches and I was colorblind in my right eye ( lasted about 2 weeks ). I was made to stay bed ridden for a few day but was ok. The doctor said by all rights I should been killed. First time I've told this whole story in a very long time, I can still remember it like it was yesterday.
