Mine would have to be when I OD'd on vicodins...It's not a fond memory at all

I got hit off of my bike when I was 17 or so. I was angled away from a car that went into my rear tire, so the bike got launched from under me and I landed on the road. If I didn't swerve back to the right, my spine would have been broken in half, to say the least.

I was going at a good clip down a hill on my bike when I was like 9 or 10. All of a sudden this car pulled out of the driveway right in front of me and before I could react I slammed into the door face first. My bike tire was knocked all the way back so it was touching the frame and wouldn't move. Pieces of my gums were shredded off and hanging out of my mouth and my nose was bleeding profusely, but that's about it. I left a nice dent in that asshole's door though and I'm not sorry since he didn't see if I was okay afterward. He just drove off. At the speed I was going I rpobably should have cracked my skull or something. Gank thod I didn't brain my damage though right?

When i was four years old i was hospitalized with Athsma, while in the hospital bed i clearly remember floating out of my body though that might have been a realy good OBE. Again when i was twenty years old...Drunk driving went off a cliff and a tree stopped my car from near death. Once while sitting at a red light, the light turns green (i usually speed off at the second it does)my car stalls and someone runs the red light on the cross street of the intersection going over 50. If my car didnt stall it would have been ugly.

i had scarlet fever when i was only 10 months old, i dont know how close i was to dieing, but im pretty sure it was close! (god doesnt want me to live when i was a kid)
then i had the AWESOME experience of pneumonia
then in 6th grade i fell from my cousins loft and landed 20 feet below with a metal spike 2 inches from impaling my head! but i was VERY lucky and just suffered a bone near my eye socket fractured, a scar about 2 feet long running down my left rib cage and one hell of a bruised head and legs (nothing but a month of healing cant take care lol)
oh yeah, i was also 2mm from loosing my left eye (where the fractured was) because i had cuts all long my left eye that was sooo close to it


ive been pretty safe since then (when i became smart and wasnt the dumbest kid alive)

One time i was riding with a friend in his car and the tire felt like it was flat or somthing. So we stop and there is like one lug nut thing holding the tire on. We were on the highway going like 80mph so if the tire had come off we probally would have flipped and died in a fiery wreck..

This happened like a year ago. I like to hike a lot and I was going on a new hike that I hadn't been on, but a buddy of mine had been on it so he was showing it to me. It was more of a climb than a hike because we were basically crawling up a waterfall. So about half way up you have to cross through the back of the waterfall, but it's fairly easy, you just walk across, but it's pretty slippery. I watched my friend go across first, then I followed. I was almost across then my right foot slipped and I fell. Luckily I was close enough to the non wet rock that I quickly was able to pull myself over there. It's really not that crazy I guess, but I found out a couple of months later, a kid that went to high school with me slipped and fell off the waterfall at that same spot and he died.

Driving fast in my car, Im sure Ive had some real close calls. None come to mind though...

I don't really remember any time that I've been close to death, but when I was 6 months old I had whooping cough and probably could've died. I've felt like I was about to die before though, if that counts

I don't think I've had any extreme physical harm

I was driving really fast one time in my car with my brother and we hit this patch of road that if you go fast off of you'll get major air....well we hit the jump going like 70mph get some serious airtime and right as we get over the hill, there is another car driving in the middle of the freaking road!! i honestly saw my life flash before my eyes. We landed and I immediately swerve to the right shoulder and the other car went to the left shoulder. i fishtailed a little bit in the grass and took out a mailbox and continued to do a 180 ending up facing the wrong way on the road.

the other dude in the car gets out and runs at me obiviously pissed as hell, i freaked out, threw it in reverse and took off. as were hauling ass outa there my bro, who was usually pretty calm just screams "HOLY SHIT WE ALMOST DIED!!!!"

Looking back, I'm lucky as hell for doing something so stupid and not hurting anyone. I've never jumped a car again. My dukes of hazzard days are over and i now drive like a grandma Now my brother and I just crack up everytime we think about it because of how he just freaked out as we drove off.
