Well, with my first son, I didn't smoke cigs or weed. Quit on the dot as soon as I found out I was pregnant.

With my second son, I didn't quit smoking cigs and I smoked pot....although, I only smoked about a joint a month....and then smoked when I went into labor.

Both of my children were big, healthy babies, and continue to be big healthy boys!

Since we were talking about babies I thought I would boast I weighed 13.5lbs when I was born. That is a FAT FUCKING BABY.

I am now 6'3'' 160lbs. Beanstalk.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

I am so glad my boys weren't that big!! I had one that was 8.3 lbs and my other was 7.9 lbs!!

Good Lord, where all your siblings that big?

Nope. None of my siblings (3 brothers, 2 sisters) even passed 10 lbs. My mom was diabetic when she had me, and she had quite the craving for oreo cookies she said.

I was the only kid she had with my father, who passed a few years after I was born.

Maybe I can dig through an old photo album later tonight (have to ask ma where it be at) and post a picture. I was definetley a fatso. Maybe that could be a future thread - 'baby pictures'. We shall see.

It's strange though, being the fattest baby - I am now the tallest and skinniest, nerdiest and musical. I am also the biggest stoner.

It's strange standing next to my brother who is 30, Marine - did a term in Iraq & Afghanistan, and being like a whole foot taller - yet he can lift me up and spin me with one hand.

I pick on everyone for being so short but I sure get the teasing back.

I certainly would not "make" Darque not smoke. Good luck "making" him do anything he doesn't want, but that's another story. I would appreciate him not smoking around me, simply because of the smoke. And I think he would be okay with that, because I think he would understand the importance of those months of development and not want to risk it either. (Correct me if I'm wrong, though.)

Dude even if there's only a slight risk of side effects, I wouldn't try it. Just quit for 9 months, for the sake of your child.
