Well, so far I've only used joints, blunts, storebought bowls and storebought bongs. I like all of them, but I think I actually like joints the best, as I find that I can easily space one joint out, i.e., smoke half a joint, wait a while, smoke some more, wait a while, then finish it. I find that bowls are a bit more difficult to space out, as they seem to run out more quickly, although that of course depends on the size of the bowl. Also, I have yet to hear of anyone shattering a joint.

As for blunts, I think they're great for group sessions, but I often smoke alone, so I don't bother rolling a blunt just for myself.

ya i totally agree i have a storebought pipe, smoked countless homemade... anything and smoked outta hella bongs (storebought) and went through my blunt phase, and recently have been smoking joints. i love to space them out... make them last. plus i love using them when i go out, in a tight squeeze if all your carrying is a joint you can easily toss or swallow it... plus no evidence once your done

i agree, that blunts are only good for groups of 3 or more...sometimes ill smoke enough to get borderline sober (anyone else done that)
I cant stress enough tho how much i enjoy making a bong...and being creative to make sweet bongs (my favorite was from a liter gatorade bottle, damn that ripped)

Blunts for anything with more than one person. My nightcaps are usually solo burning with my bowl. KB, however, I try to smoke that in bongs, but only one friend has one.

If you not smoking killer bud, i wouldnt put it in a bowl/bong/bubber. THats what those are for IMO. Anything less then dank goes in a joint. My favorite way to smoke is proably out of a bubbler-- cause its lightweight, not as big and hard to hide as a bong, and not as small and boring as a bowl .

It depends on what I'm doing, who I'm with, and how I feel.

I like to smoke my piece when it's just me or if it's just a few of us. When it's just me, I usually only do half a bowl pack or so- I smoke too little by myself to roll up a joint (though I occassionally will make spliffs, I usually prefer to just smoke a bowl and then smoke a cigarette). I also don't have to worry about putting out the bowl if I want to take time between hits, like I would with a joint. Also, when with friends, smoking a bowl seems slightly ritualistic, and I like that feeling.

However, if you don't have a safe spot, then smoking out of a bowl can become not fun, because you're worrying about looking obvious or sketchy. So, when we're on the go or on campus, we usually smoke joints, and those are enjoyable too. You don't have to worry too much about it because it's not nearly as sketchy looking (though we still keep an eye out). It's a lot more relaxed to smoke a joint in public than a bowl.

Blunts are alright, but not really for me. I'm a bit of a cigar aficianado, so I find the low quality tobacco and painted-on artificial flavors of most blunt wraps to be not up to my expectations, unless I'm already high at which point I don't care, and the cigars I have are very delicately hand wrapped so it's hard to take most of them apart. Only one of them really works, and it's so small it's more like a joint than a blunt. Also, a blunt is way too much at once for us usually. We gather in small groups and tend to space out or smoking instead of doing it all at once, so while it's fun to do on occassion, it's not really my preferred method.

Alas, I still have yet to try a bong, and don't know when I'll be able to- I haven't been smoking since the end of April because I need to find a job, and I still don't have one, so it may be a while. But I'm looking forward to it.

my buddies an i made a waterfall outta a 20 oz gatorade bottle an a gravity bong for a party we were having...now we had been smoking blunts an j's all night of some reall good kb (we had a quarter o) so i was pretty good....but when i hit that waterfall i was goooooone.....nothing has come close to that in awhile
