That was just a question I've never really heard of someone not lighting off fireworks in America until they are 23, it's just one of those things where everyone moves as sheep and you are trained from your youth. "Oh look kids, fireworks, you love fireworks and you are going to buy lots of them when you grow up to be a big productive consumer! YAY!"

Even though it is unusual for a someone thats 23 to have never shot off fireworks but they are illegal in quite a few states. If you lived in a state that outlaws fireworks it might be hard to obtain them.

I believe there are places to buy fireworks here. I just never did it before. Is that difficult to grasp? It was common for you and your friends but uncommon for me where I grew up. How do you jump from that to "Oh look kids, fireworks, you love fireworks and you are going to buy lots of them when you grow up to be a big productive consumer! YAY!" is beyond me. Except, perhaps, for the fact that thinking in extremes and jumping to big conclusions often springs from the ignorance of youth. But hey, keep stickin' to the man who wants my dollar, yo.
