| I've been thinking...will i smoke my entire life or quit after a certain point in my life. I first had a smoke a few weeks after my 16th birthday and i'm now 17 turning 18 in October so i have 2yrs left of my teen years. I was caught recently and the severity of being caught should have frightened me enough to stop. However i risk it every couple of days or weeks. I beleive i will continue in University though only sparingly and even then the University i will go to will be far away from friends and all of my connections. Ironically i'm considering going to the University of Northern British Columbia, where i doubt i'll have any difficulty finding any. I've heard my friends saying they will quit some time in their life but they never said when. So..is my pot smoking habit just a phase in my life or will i do it until the bitter end? Are your smoking days numbered or just beginning?

| Why worry? The way I view it is, I'll take it as it comes. If I say I'm going to quit when I'm 25, then I'm 25 and still want to toke up, it was kind of dumb to say anything in the first place. I never try to set myself up for something like that..."I'm never doing that again" ... Well how do you know you won't want to do it again? You've got your whole life ahead of you, don't limit yourself to what your going to do in the future based on your current life and situation right now. ![]() |

| Nope, I'll be smoking until the day I die.

| I sincerely doubt I'll ever quit altogether. I have a feeling my consumption will taper off somewhat as i get older, but I can't see me ever completely abstaining from weed. I see no reason to, personally. There are few health risks involved, and nearly all of those are negated by vaporizing, which is something I have started to do recently. In my case, I believe the benefits outweigh any potential risks.

| I'll probably temporarily quit when I move back to asia to teach ESL All the countries I'm looking at have pretty harsh penalties and usually pretty crappy weed. But I can't ever see myself quitting permanently. Smoking weed is fun. I like fun. I don't foresee myself ever NOT liking fun.

| I can't really imagine ever desiring to fully quit smoking weed. Sure, when I have children, I'll seriously cut back, but really quit? Why? What reason is there to stop smoking weed as you age? I know some people think that smoking is something but young people do, but I try to not live my life by other people's expectations. If I ever felt I had a reason to quit toking, I would. But I can't think of a reason that's not temporary. For instance, like I said with the children thing above, when one day I have a wife and she's pregnant, I won't smoke at all. And after the child is born, I probably won't smoke nearly as much as I did beforehand. But I just can't imagine an absolute reason why I would permanently quit.

| I've been smoking since my teens and I'm almost 50. I never once said it is time to quit, I have just drifted away from it once in awhile, when I daughter was born, when I was moving around a lot or when I was shitass broke. But now that I have my vapo, I seriously doubt seeing myself drifting very far. It has taken my love of pot to a whole new level. I think the urn they put me after I am cremated will be shaped like my SSV |
