Higher Logic

Blogs certainly have their purpose. I'm an avid blog reader, the majority of sites I visit in my spare time are blogs. Most of them are worthless, regirgitated bullshit. Some of them are worth reading. On here though, the blogs are pointless. They're competing with the forums, and the forums will always win because of the nature of users.

Could they be useful on here? Of course, but that would require a restructuring of content and purpose on this site, making blogs and news (and content in general) a much more respected medium.

I do love my meat though, GM (how come that sounds so wrong, yet so right)

Edit: A perfect example is your chili recipe post. I love football, I love cooking, and I love me some chili (with beans of course). Normally, if I came across a blog specfically about chili, I'd be all up on on it. Does it work on here though? Not right now. It could though, and it would be nice if it did, but right now it's just not setup for that. Just fluff, like a lot of things on here really.
