when i use to go to school i would do better on test and everything in general stoned, and i work harder when high also

Certain strains are useful in the treatment of ADD and ADHD. If someone has one of these conditions, toking up before school or work seems perfectly logical to me. Also, some people are more motivated, focused, and able to retain information when they're high. (Of course, you would have seen this, had you bothered to read the posts before you.)

It's not just about getting stoned and spacing out. That's for the weekend.

Me and friends would always meet at the park b4 school and smoke out my friends minivan. 3 fat blunts for the five of us. Always got blown away.

I plan to wake n' bake ALOT next year in college. I mean, some days I only have one class the whole day so I am convince they set my schedule like that just so I can blaze!

my last job, in a coffee shop, (which i lost, btw, for unrelated reasons) i would go in high occasionally, and allow it to wear off as i work. depending on the results of this piss test, i'll be working mornings in a retail stockroom, so without having to deal with a bunch of customers, i don't see why it would be a problem to wake and bake.

i never smoked during school. i think if i had, i think i might have even done better. if i ever go back to finish my bachelors, i will definitely try it, and possibly do it regularly. if i had to take a lab or discussion class, it might not be so great, but for those huge lectures, where you're just supposed to listen and take notes... i mean, i think it would help me focus, and i'm already a really great note-taker. i don't think going to school high is wrong at all. no way, dude. it might not be SMART, but it sure as hell isn't wrong. i pay for that shit. tuition these days is ridiculous, along with books and whatever else.

working is another matter. you have to be really on top of things. high or not, if you are screwing up at work, they are going to fire you. best to get your shit handled, try smoking a few times and see if you're called out for being "out of it" or "tired." if you are, cool it. and god help you if you are the giggly type... it just won't work.

i think smoking AT work is dumb... i mean, you are pretty much asking to get fired. the only time i ever toked AT work was in my one-hitter on 420 at 420, lol, and i hid in the deepest darkest corner of the parking garage. at my roommate's job, though, everyone smokes before work and on their breaks- it's pretty accepted by the whole team, and their dealer even comes to the establishment regularly. even then, though, they make sure that they're not getting totally baked, and that they will be able to do the work that needs doing when it needs done. balance, friends!

I worked at a grocery store deli for three months after I graduated college, and I would smoke on my way to work, and blaze up during my break, too. It made dealing with the meaningless of it all quite tolerable. Now I'm at a job where my boss could call me into her office at any moment, and demand a number of complicated tasks be done asap... I am too afraid of getting stoned and then the phone rings as soon as I walk in the office, because I know I would get everything she said confused and screw it up (it's easy enough to do when I'm stone cold sober!). I think it really depends on the job/class, and how an individual reacts to being stoned...

I am definataly up for a wake n' bake every morning when I get to college considering the majority of my classes are in lecture halls. I too think it will allow me to focus better because although I have not been diagnosed with it, I always feel like I have signs of ADD. If you keep me in that lecture hall and just talk for an hour and fifteen minutes straight than no notes are getting done and I will be asleep.

I don't smoke before school, seems to me that you need to take it down a notch if you blaze before doing your job or going off to school.
