| Neither. Don't use 'em. But really, what does it matter? The roach would be on whichever side the joint is "pointed". ![]()

| I don't use roaches, but my mouth always goes on the left side of the joint, and I spark the right side. Maybe has something o do with being left handed...

| I dont know anyone personally, that rolls with a "roach" we just smoke it untill its to small to handle, put it out, and save them up untill we can roll another blunt/joint with them. I personally dont see the need for a roach. |

| Roaches help the end from getting sticky, and also make sure theres a hole for the smoke to come out of consistently. If you don't use a roach doesn't the end you're smoking from close over, or do you get weed in your mouth? Never smoked a joint without a roach before! |

| If the weed is pretty dry and finely ground, it won't get too sticky and close up. As long as the joint is evenly filled a roach is not required. However, it is easier to roll with one, and since last year my technique has changed. ![]() |

| Joints usually get sticky and hard to hit at the end because....well a lot of people don't know how to hit them good. Most people put it to their mouth and pinch the ends, making it both those things. I always try to hit my joints carefull as to not close up the end of the joint, since I don't use roaches. Anyway, I HAVE used roaches before. They always went on the left side. Like Jake said though, maybe it has something to do with me being left handed. My left is mostly the one that does all the fine tuning on the joint as well.
