20 years for me.
Started the summer between my Freshman & Sophomore years in HS. I took my first tokes the same night I drank my first beers, so I don't really remember much of the effects. It took almost another 2 months after that before I finally smoked some good bud and caught a buzz, thanks to some schwag my friend was always stealing from his dad. We thought his dad just didn't need real good weed to get high...or something. In hindsight, I think dad put the crap weed where we'd find it, as a decoy, and hid his good stash somewhere else.

ive been smoking around 3 years maybe 4!!
its been great, now I never need alcohol
but i consume it DAILY!!!!!

Oh my gawd, I really hadnt thought about how long I've been smoking until right now. I started the summer after 8th grade, so 1992, and its now 2007. 15 years !! Thats over half my life at this point. :jawdrop

And I did have a 4 year bout with meth that I can proudly say I walked away from 5 years ago with little in the way of long term affects.
