| They might be cheaper than beef, but chicken and turkey have no business being in my hot dogs! ![]() It's been a while, but I remember the 'Dodger Dogs' at Dodger Stadium being pretty good. ![]() |

| I don't eat "hot dogs". I used to be able to stomach them if I was hungry enough, but I honestl;y don' t remember the last normal hotdog I ate. On the other hand, I don't mind Polish Sausages, and I love brats. I get a portion of my deer turned into brats every year, and they, if I do say so myself, are among the best I've ever eaten. Anyone who has tried them tends to agree. Nothing better than grilling brats over a campfire........dammit, I'm ready for it to be spring aready (well, I will be after the first weekend in Nov anyway....gotta get my deer ya know!!!!)

| How do you get deer meat turned into brats ? I'm also a huge brat lover, and never knew such a thing was possible... I won't go out of my way to eat a hot dog, but if I was hungry and that's all there was while camping/fishing I wouldn't turn one down. They have to be held over some fire first, and blackened....a raw hot dog would make me gag. [/nohomo] |

| Deer Brats: They sell sausage makers so you can make your own. Add your favorite seasonings etc. Does anybody remember "Caddies"?? It was like a 3-sided hot dog bun. Haven't seen them in years. |

| The ultimate in hot dogs ~ The Oscar Meyer Cheesdog ~ YUMMY! I like hot dogs grilled, fried, boiled even cold. You just can't go wrong with an all American Hot Dog and yes I know what's in them but we don't need to talk about that ![]()

| I'm really sorry to hear that. It's probably not good for anyone regardless of health issues. Hot dogs have so much salt in them they make my ankles swell up so I don't get to have them very often either. I feel your pain. |
