July 16, 1981 was my first experience, although it really didn't do much for me that time. I probably was hitting it 'Clinton-style' (not inhaling properly).

The next time was in September of the same year. It worked and then some. Been a regular subscriber ever since.

I smoke just about every night, although its just a hit or two out of the ol' dugout, so it takes about 5-6 weeks to go through a quarter, depending on how many times the bong makes a visit.

I've been smoking for five years now. Well, it'll be five years sometime in early November, I believe. I started in Freshman year in high school, and now I am a freshman in college.

I think it's too early to really tell how it's changed me, to really gauge how big the impact is. The biggest thing that weed has done for me was it was the first time I said "the government is wrong. I have been lied to." Some people go their whole lives without ever saying those words, and I'm thankful that I've said them.

Weed kept my hair long all through high school, but it's been short on the most part lately...

Weed started a long journey that I feel is just coming to an end. About a year after my first toke, I started experimenting with almost any drug that I hadn't tried yet, and I found the other drugs so easy to obtain with my connects that I made with the weed scene. Coke, crack, E, PCP, alcohol...on and on...it was never excessive (I've done PCP three times; coke twice), just a waste of time. I'm glad I got that out of system at a relatively young age...I hit my peak smoking about a year and a half ago...I was smoking over an eighth a day, I only really bought middies, but I indulged on KB on occasion. Today, I make an eighth last somewhere between a week or two, and it's nothing but KIIIIIIIIIND stuff...I used to smoke whenever I could, now I smoke only after-school and/or after-work...

Wow, 26 years and going strong, a few posts or not that's automatic senior status right there.

I'm the same in terms of how much I smoke, always just a couple hits. If I'm feeling really good I may finish a joint, but usually a nice buzz does the trick just fine.

On to the topic of the thread, I've been smoking about 14 years. Started a bit too young but I was always old for my age so I suppose it's a balance.

Well, I'm 23 now...boy it seems like along time ago...The first time I ever smoked was on my 12th birthday. My older brother, whom I adored as the "Most Awsome Brother Ever" gave me a joint. We were out back by our fire pit when my dad got home and walked over. He looked at me and my brother and grabbed my arm and took me to the garage. Boy did I think I was in it deep this time. Instead, he packed up a G-bong and made me smoke one after another. After I had gotten so sick that I puked from coughing, he told me that if I was going to do something, I had better do it smart.
He taught me everything I know about smoking. He was a head and so was my mom for years apparently * and this was a total shock to me when I found out*
He passed away 2 years ago and I still have every single piece he had. I dont use them that often, but when I do, its almost like smoking with him again. Its a shame that after I grew up, moved out and had my own life, the only time we really ever spent together was when we got high...but I have some of the best memorys from that man.

I think it would be cool to smoke with my dad, but I know that he never would. We don't really get along all that well, but I know our relationship would be better if weed was somehow introduced.
